Services
We're your go-to specialists when it comes to residential and commercial roof installations. Traditional rustic beauty with durability, versatility and environmentally-friendly characteristics. With a wide range of choices, a composition roof is one of the most common & most popular. In addition to their intrinsic beauty, elegance, and exceptional aesthetics, they offer amazing benefits.
Armstrong Roofing has been serving residential and commercial customers throughout King, Pierce, Thurston, and Kitsap counties for over 25 years. We offer free advice, free estimates within 10 minutes, and roof inspections within 24 hours. Drop us a line, or better yet, send us a text or give us a call.
The only thing that wears out your roofing is the radiation from the sun, it breaks down the oil in the roofing and after a set amount of time depending on the amount of oil in the shingle the material is unable to expand and contract with the temperature changes and starts to crack and become brittle.
Once and a while I have to hire a roofer and was finding it hard to figure out which ones were lying about their abilities. So, I came up with a simple test to figure out how much they knew about roofing and was shocked at how little roofers know about their trade. To know if you're working with an amateur, ask him to name the 4 types of metal around the chimney any good roofer can do this - fakers can't.
With years of experience since the early 1990's, we're your go-to specialists when it comes to roof installation services for residential and commercial structures. If you have reached a decision to replace a roof on your residential or commercial building, this may be the time to consider the type of new system you prefer.

On April 18, 2020 I had a new roof replacement on my house in Spanaway and the owner Troy Wagner of Armstrong Roofing and his crew did an EXCELLENT Job who took their time in completing my roof, very professional, courteous , clean and most of all affordable. I wish that I met him before to do my other rental properties since I'm a Landlord and he never asked for a down payment nor sign a contract which is unheard of. They did an awesome job I give them 5 STARS on my book and some.

I contacted Armstrong roofing to do a repair to my home in Olympia & I am so happy with the work that was done! Troy is a awesome guy & made scheduling my appointment very easy. That man is knowledgeable & professional. This was my first time having to hire someone and he made it easy for me to talk to him & have a good insight on what was going on.

Excellent experience. Fair, competitive bid amongst 6-8 different bids. Excellent, high-quality shingle. Crew was thorough, on time, professional, and fast. They covered our shrubs, windows, lawn, etc., to protect them. When they left, it looked like they had never been here. Not even a tiny piece of single anywhere. Scanned the area with nail magnets over and over to make sure they left no nails as well. We requested and received their license and insurance up front. We didn't pay until it was finished and we were satisfied as well.

The most awful experience my mother had to go through. My mother paid $10,500.00 in December of 2017 for a new roof (without my knowledge.) Today is the 6th of November 2018 and her roof looks like it was used for job training for new roofers. My mother is in her 60s with a heavy Spanish accent. I called Mr. Troy Wagner to get some type of understanding of the situation and automatically off the back he hollers "your mother is a liar." At this point I am now wondering how he spoke to my mother. My mind is spinning on how this man even gains business with this hollering and nasty attitude

Unprofessional and unrealiable. Damaged my skylight frame to the point where water pours in the ceiling. Stovenpipe was way off center and now has a gap on the inside of my ceiling even with the cover that gives room for error and hides a majority of gap. Not enough to hide the choppy work that had been done. Left trash from food and drinks in front yard and roofing all over the yard. Had to replace the skylight myself to avoid huge amounts of interior damage from water just pouring in. Had to make a trip to the dump on my on dime to throw away all the trash left by the crew. I have an ugly gap

I talked to Troy over the phone and he is definitely a straight shooter, and a honest guy. He gave me a S.W.A.G on the cost up front to repair the leak in my roof without trying to sell me a 20k roof, for that I will give 4 stars. I would do business with him again, however I do see a pattern from all the other reviews, of missing appointments with no communication. We had a set time and his employee didn't show up for work for my appointment. This wasn't communicated to me until few hours later. Troy rescheduled and was able to make that appointment which things went well thus far

After reading the reviews and "lines getting crossed"/missed appt, I was nervous about hiring Armstrong, but they pulled through! We saved $300 or so, going with Armstrong, but most importantly our 2008 roof looks almost brand new!! Shay sprayed the debris from the windows, walls, and both front porch and back patio! He even sprayed our neighbors side yard!! He was here until dark cleaning up. I had a great experience once Shay was here! My neighbors were asking for his card and I plan to recommend them to anyone. Thank you for a job well done!

Had an a.m. appointment with Armstrong Roofing so stayed home from work to wait for him. Waited about 1/2 hour beyond the appointed time and then called. He said he forgot about the appointment, was about an hour away, and could come by in the afternoon. So we set up an appointment for that afternoon. I went to work and again took time off to meet him. And...? Yep, you guessed it, he was again a no show. I didn't bother to call back this time. Rude and inconsiderate are the words that come to mind -- his time is important, mine is not so I can be ignored.

I initially called Armstrong

We needed a whole new roof. We had a half dozen roofing companies give us estimates and out of all of them the only one who seemed to know what he was doing was Jim from Armstrong Roofing. He got up on our roof and was able to point out all 3 leaks within moments. Not only was he the most knowledgable, but he also had the best price.
When we called to hire them, they started 2 days later, on Valentines Day. It had sprinkled that morning so they got a later start than expected. Once they started they were very aware of the weather and made sure to only tear off what they could recover the same
