Services
Processing of applications will be done as quickly as possible (the more complete the application, the faster it can be processed) and you will then be contacted. If your application is approved, you will have 24 hours to submit a deposit. If the property rents before your application is processed, the processing fee will be refunded, or you may transfer your application to another of our available properties.
Leases: All tenants we rent to are required to sign our rental agreement. The Raleigh Property Management rental agreement has been developed over the years by the North Carolina Association of Realtors and the North Carolina State Bar and includes many clauses that protect both the owner and tenant.

Raleigh Property Management and its owner Diane Murdock are only interested in self-preservation at the expense of the tenants.
After 3 MONTHS of putting in multiple service requests for the replacement of an expired hardwired smoke and carbon monoxide detector I ended up replacing the unit myself and I decided to terminate my lease early.

I've been renting with Raleigh Prop. Mgmt. now for almost 4 years and so far it's been a good four years. Diane stays very low key (out of my way) and I try to do the same as we are both busy people. When I submit service requests, she's on it as quickly as possible. Slow downs can take place with maintenance personnel but of course they have other jobs to work as well. In summary, Diane and the owner of the building that I live in have been very accommodating (more than any other landlord I've dealt with) and have provided affordable living options throughout the triangle. I contacted Raleigh Property management because I had been told that they may be able to work with my situation (bad credit and an eviction due to an ex and health issues, but plenty of verifiable income). I emailed the company explaining every detail of my situation and received a response from Diane saying that they had properties available that they could make work for me and my fiance. She gave me Libbys information and we viewed a property we loved and also explained our situation to Libby while at the showing. She also agreed that our situation was workable. After a water leakage that turned into a flood in my apt, due to maintenance negligence, I had to move out. Diane was completely unrealistic and unfair to me as there was mold everywhere in the apt. When the flood started, she took about 7 hours to return my call while the water was constantly pouring out. She ignored me for 7 hours. Then took another 8 days to send someone out after water flooded my entire apartment. It took her over 2 weeks to rectify the situation. I had to find somewhere else to live for a month and she still expected a full month’s rent. Thank God I have a paper trail proving

As a previous tenant I can attest to the professional services Diane and Raleigh Property management provided. Always a prompt response to any inquiry and they always followed up with repairs. I’m not the perfect tenant but I adhered to all of the rules and our community was safe and comfortable due to the amazing services provided by Diane and her team.

My family and I have rented from Raleigh Property Management, for the past 5 years, in a 2 bedroom townhouse in West Raleigh. Since day one, this company has been attentive to our needs. When something went wrong, such as broken garbage disposal, door/window caulking, painting, carpet, appliances, etc., the maintenance crew was very responsive and professional. I was very impressed when our fireplace needed to be closed-off, due to chimney issues too. The maintenance crew was there the very next day to address the issue. Very slow on maintenance and don't even do the job right when they finally get out to do it. I have to keep on pestering them. I sometimes send emails that are ignored. Would advise renting from somebody else.
1/6 I submitted work order to have the weather stripping on my door replaced because it was cold and letting in cold air. Nobody came. No phone calls. No messages or emails. I asked about it 2/4 and was told by the property manager that they thought everything was already done. 2/23 more messages about the door. Apparently the maintenance guy said he had tried to call. No he didn't. No messages

Raleigh Property Management has been great to my family and I. This is the second time that we have rented from them, and they have been great property managers. Anytime there is an issue, we can either call the Property Manager, Mrs. Diane or the Maintenance guy-Gordon and they are on it. If there is an issue that requires a tradesman- such as plumbing or HVAC, then she sends someone out and stays in constant communication with us until the issue is resolved. There have been instances where we have been late with getting our rent in on time due to a hardship and she has worked with us to get it

My roommate and I have not had a working, as in usable and safe, oven for about a month now. My roommate completed a work order on August 1, 2018 for the oven to be fixed. We had not heard anything from the management company, and gave them a call about a week later. On August 12, 2018, the work crew came to try to fix the oven. He told me that the screws were stripped and that a new oven needed to be ordered. He attempted to put the handle back, but it was not until my roommate tried the oven door the next day and it all fell a part, that we discovered he attempted to "TAPE" the oven door back
