Services
Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination and twice a year for the older pets. Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.
To allow ample time for all patients, call ahead to schedule an appointment and please arrive on time to your scheduled appointment. New clients should arrive 10 minutes early to fill out paperwork. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable.
Here at Carrolltown Veterinary Hospital, we offer boarding for both cats and dogs of all sizes. Flea and Tick Prevention: All pets must be current on flea and tick prevention within 30 days of boarding. Application can be provided by the hospital. This is to ensure that no pets bring fleas or ticks into the hospital or get fleas and ticks from another patient staying with us.
Many people have questions about various aspects of their pet's surgery, and we hope this information will help. It also explains the decisions you will need to make before your pet's upcoming surgery. Is the anesthetic safe? Today's modern anesthetic monitors have made surgery much safer than in the past.

I have been taking my cats and dogs here for over 20 years. The staff has always been fantastic, personable and kind. They care so much that they were in tears when we had to say goodbye to our pets. The vet even called me with condolences after we made that decision at an ER and not in their office. My puppy loves going there and always gets excited when we get to the parking lot. I will continue to take my babies here as long as we live here!

They were extremely nice and helpful. Very caring. Dr. Kim Cross acted and treated us like we were good friends and we had just met her for the first time today. Dr. Kim Cross was very sweet and told us exactly what was best for our cat, Mia Quesenberry. The front staff and her assistants were kind, gentle and very caring. I highly recommend them to everyone.
Thank you Dr. Kim Cross and staff!

Have been taking our dog here since she was a puppy. She got sick earlier in the year and the vet seemed to have no idea what was happening and prescribed us expensive medicine and food that never worked. Wasted so much time and money watching our dog deteriorate. The last thing they told us was to go spend even more money on a test that would probably come back inconclusive. Unwilling to do that, we found a new vet and got a diagnosis after our first visit that saved our dog's life. We also have had issues with the front desk staff being short and rude on the phone when we had questions.
