Lafayette Funeral Home has served Cumberland County and surrounding areas with compassionate and caring service for over 20 years. In October of 2011, Lafayette Funeral Home reopened under new management, being affiliated with Crumpler Funeral Homes, Inc., with other locations including Raeford, Red Springs, and Pinebluff, NC.

Thumbies fingerprint keepsakes give you the opportunity to make a custom keepsake of the people you love and the times you want to remember. These customized, keepsake charms are created using real footprints, handprints, or fingerprints. Lafayette Funeral Home is part of Meadow Hill's nationwide network of funeral homes that assist families in taking fingerprints and placing orders for jewelry keepsakes.

When my husband Ernesto Navarro Rodriguez pass December 14 2020 , I was so devastated I can thinking right , but a very good friend Luis Berrios recommended me Lafayette Funeral home. Dear Lord his owner Rick and he staff treat me and my family with so much respect,patience, and encourage word the "everything will be okay and it was ; they have the huge heart to treat us like family and compassion in our difficulty time, they tell us the amount and do our contract with so much caring and understood our suffering so right there.. even when I went after the funeral to paid the rest they act so compassionate

Miss Tan was absolutely amazing. Her compassion and her warm voice just made the family feel so welcome. I noticed she handles everything with such grace and professionalism. It is already hard when a loved one has gained their wings. You don't know where to begin. My first call and speaking with Kenneth, made our decision easy. Every step of the way, they met our wants and needs. James, was great and showed lots of compassion with every delivery and request we had, even down to the words he shared. The entire staff is comforting and helpful during the grieving process. They did a Wonderful job with our Loved One!

Rick and the staff at Lafayette Funeral were extremely courteous, professional, and sympathetic in our time of grief. Having called several funeral homes within the area to service our immediate and unexpected loss, without a doubt Lafayette was the primary choice once we spoke to them. Everything that was required of us as the surviving family was simple to follow and execute and they are extremely efficient at what they do. We cannot thank them enough for what they helped us through and hope that this small review expresses a portion of our gratitude through our time of need.

Sean & Rev. Robert Staples performed an absolutely beautiful service. We couldn't have asked for better or more compassionate treatment from the entire staff. Sean went above & beyond the call of duty & Rev. Robert Staples did as well. They made us feel like family. We were contacted regularly on the progress prior to the service. Very caring funeral home at a time of vulnerability. Did NOT take advantage like some will. Thank you Sean & Rev. Staples for all that you did!!

Words can't express how awesome, professional and caring the staff at Lafayette Funeral Home are. I joked with Rick and asked him if he ever slept, because every time I called he would answer in the most calming voice I've ever heard. they took care of everything, things that I did not even think about and my family and I are forever grateful.

Although one of the smaller funeral homes it was just the right size and location for us. The personal service received by my family was warm and welcoming. I do not know if they cared about my loved one or not but all that mattered was that they made us feel like they did. They made all the necessary arrangements and walked us thru every step.
