Services
A need for service and a desire for the people of Fayetteville and Cumberland County to have this service was the beginning of Wiseman's Mortuary. Garris Funeral Home saw the need for another Funeral Home in this area. Mr. Wiseman attended public schools and Livingstone College in Salisbury, North Carolina.
At Wiseman Mortuary, we take great pride in caring for our families, and will work tirelessly to provide you with a beautiful, lasting tribute to your loved one. In addition to the services we offer, you will receive an online memorial that you can share with family and friends. While honoring your loved one is our top priority, we also want to help you through this difficult time.
Wiseman Mortuary offers a full line of quality end of life services. We have a large selection of caskets, urns, and clothing to fit every budget. In order to assist families in customizing the funeral or memorial service, we provide online links to printing companies, florists, and other relevant resources.

I cannot believe and never thought I would ever give a bad review for this place. My family has used it for my loved ones who have passed away in the past. Everyone was always pleased with their services. I, unfortunately, had to use them for my own mother's unexpected death last month. It was the worst experience for me. So unprofessional, no compassion and I could go on and on. HORRIBLE! While sitting there at the table going over the details, one of the men working there was making jokes about him having "down syndrome". I was disgusted at that point. I don't know what happened to the older

Do not use this place worst service ever rude poor planning, poor communication and no compassion. My father passed away August the 17th unexpectedly we used Wiseman because they were recommended by friends and family. Big mistake! They were awful. The funeral was planned for Monday August the 23rd August the 23rd, my father served in the military for 25 plus years the plan was to have a full military honor's service. We Received a call on Friday at 3:00 p.m. and were told that the service would have to be changed to Wednesday or move forward with no military detail we found out later that the

Terrible service. Last minute planning, so many mistakes, inconsiderate, and rude. Told us the outfit we bought for our lost loved one was, “way too small because she could never fit something like that because she was big.” Awful communication and didn’t send instruction or updates until hours before our viewing/service

Worst service ever. Here's why..
During COVID, they were in charge of our relative's body. Let me say this, the only reason I gave them 2 stars was because they had decent parking. Their communication to us was unprofessional, rude and lacking sympathy to a grieving family. I called Mrs Wiseman, left a message for her to call me back. One week later, no response. I felt she needs to know how we (more than 4 people) were approached and spoken to. Now when we proofed the obituary, I took it back to the young man. He about snatched it out of my hand because there were two typos. Almost like he couldn

I wish that I could give this establishment a zero star rating. They made the experience of burying my father 4 years ago so much more excruciating than I could have imagined. They allowed my father's GIRLFRIEND to determine the outcome of his burial and funeral services. They didn't remain in communication with me, and when I finally realized what they were doing, they told me I would have to pay them $10,000 (in 24 hours!) in order to move my father's remains to Maryland. Terrible experience from a money driven family-owned business. It's sad that supposed Black Christians would treat each this

Simply unprofessional and impossible to deal with. After all the lies about death certificates not received when in truth they actually prepare, lie after lie has left family members in limbo. It seems as though there no consideration given a family in grieve. I thank God we never have to deal with the likes of this company again.
