Services
Field of Dreams Nurture and Education Center offers high quality child care in a nurturing and fun environment and at a price less than Charlotte alternatives. We have taken the best concepts of many childcare centers in North and South Carolina and combined them into our facility design. We have worked with leading authorities in early childcare and education and have incorporated many of the latest concepts into our program and curriculum.
The past six years at Field of Dreams have been great for our family. We are extremely grateful for the commitment of the entire staff to early childhood education and their influence on the development of our boys. They have learned so much over the years through hands-on learning, interaction with classmates, and the excitement of playing on the natural playground.
Field of Dreams focuses on meeting the needs of the whole child. In a safe and nurturing environment, we give them creative and meaningful activities that stimulate curiosity and demonstrate how fun and exciting learning can be. Our staff consists of talented and passionate educators who seek to understand each child's unique personality and tend to their various needs.
At Field of Dreams, we use an approach to teaching and learning that focuses on the natural development of the child. Learning will be child directed, this is based on the philosophy that learning must make sense to the child in order for it to be effective and meaningful. The teachers will listen to and respect the thoughts and ideas of the children to develop lessons that are interesting and meaningful.
We maintain a 1:5 caregiver to infant ratio at all times to ensure the best care possible. The focus of our infant program is to provide care, love, compassion, and attention to each infant and we do this by always having plenty of experienced and passionate caregivers on staff. Our staff members are devoted to understanding each baby's unique personality to ensure that they are being cared for in a safe and loving environment.

BEWARE. The front office of this daycare is the worse. Came to field of dreams months ago in order to find a nursery care for a newborn starting in May 2018. Was told it shouldn't be a problem, fill out the application and pay the $40 fee. Done. Next steps was to call once the child is born. I call in and to inform Field of Dreams, as instructed, to which they act confused on why I am calling. Was told to call back in the end of February to verify the date for enrollment. Called "Ms. Nicole", who appears to be the head of enrollment, several times without a reply. I start to get nervous. Gone to

My son started attending Field of Dreams in Baxter when he was 5 months old. On the first day I dropped him off of course I was a mess, and the Director gave me a hug and I knew he was in good hand. His teacher even called me on that first day to let me know he was doing great. Everyone I have met, teacher, admin, etc. genuinely cared about my son and my feelings. I love that they have cameras in the classroom. Any questions that I had or help I needed with my son's needs were handled in the very best manner. Would highly recommend!
