At Girasol Dual Language Preschool, we are dedicated to providing academic excellence and putting children on a path to participate in the current and future advantages of being bilingual and biliterate in English and Spanish. Our unique dual language program offers an engaging Spanish immersion experience, while still providing preschoolers with opportunities to continue to build and develop their English skills.

We are a Christian preschool who welcomes children from all backgrounds. We are committed to providing a safe, warm, and loving environment where your child can learn about the love of Jesus and how to love others as God loves us. Girasol (pronounced hee-rah-soul) is the Spanish word for sunflower.
Services
Our program was carefully designed to provide the highest quality in preschool education for 3-5 year olds. We are a Spanish immersion school that also provides continued development of English language and skills. Students who attend Girasol will develop the social, emotional, and cognitive skills and behaviors that will foster confidence, respect and academic excellence.
At Girasol, our students are taught and grouped according to their unique and individual strengths, needs and development rather than their age. Unlike traditional same-age classrooms that often confine children to the same level, our children are provided with opportunities to be exposed to and participate in more advanced work as well as have more time if needed to master skills.
At Girasol Dual Language Preschool, we dedicate individual attention to all prospective families. Therefore, in most cases, our tours are scheduled as a private session for each family with our Preschool Director. This allows us to answer your questions and gives us the opportunity to discover how we can meet the needs of your child.

I highly recommend Girasol for any parent interested in their child learning or maintaining a Spanish language proficiency. The staff and owner are exceptional. It is evident they adore their students, and have a passion to teach Spanish. My husband and I are very pleased with our son’s progress and can’t wait for our daughter to join the Girasol family.
While I do believe my son is naturally gifted, he has learned to read, write, do math, tell time, and construct sentences in Spanish. He recently turned 4; so I view his development as exceptional and highly credit these milestones to Girasol

We couldn't be more pleased with our son's preschool experience at Girasol Dual Language Preschool. It is a dual language, montessori style, and Christian preschool- a unique structure that fulfills exactly what we were hoping to find in a preschool. My son is challenged yet comes home cheerful. He has gained cute friendships, independence, and coherent English/Spanish speaking and writing skills at Girasol. His teachers are special and treat him with kindness. Girasol is a gem of a preschool in Cypress.

We saw results in 6 weeks - our 3 year old knew numbers, letters, songs, colors, emotions and directional phrases by her second month at Girasol School. She has continued to understand more and build on her vocabulary by being able to use the words she knows plus the context cues when I speak with her in Spanish at home. She will watch cartoons in Spanish and English with equal enthusiasm, beyond Dora, and has taught her 2 year old little brother numbers, songs and salutations. We have been so happy with her experience and progress that we plan to enroll him with her in the fall.

My daughter attends Girasol preschool and we love it! My wife and I wanted our daughter to start learning a foreign language at a young age. We tried a few Spanish classes, but wanted to get more exposure than the same basic lessons: counting to 10, basic colors, body parts, etc, so we were excited to find Giarsol. My daughter isn't just learning math, but is picking up a foreign language when they teach her math in Spanish. The teachers are fluent in both English and Spanish, so they clarify things in English when she needs help, but my daughter is excited with the new Spanish vocabulary she learns
