All Entrees are served with a house salad, and a combination of a white rice, french fries, steamed broccoli and carrots, boiled potato and homemade potato chips, served family style. This was our first time experience as a recommendation. We had a reservation for a party of 12 which turned into a party of 14 at the last minute and they were very accommodating! Most of us at the table ordered the Rodizio. I had the Skirt steak. It was cooked perfectly and the sides were also very delicious. The staff was very attentive the whole night. We were all very full and pleased with our visit. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to come back again!

The rodizio was delicious. I'm giving 4 out of 5 because the bacon wrapped Turkey was a bit too salty and the sides were unimpressive. The French fries just sat and got cold as were greasy and the salad could've used a bit more love. Th plantains we're great but that was it as far as enjoying sides besides rice. The pork cube and short ribs were my favorite. My family loved the skirt steak, beef cube and sausage.
I would definitely return as it's well worth the 43 bucks per person.

Why only 2 stars? Because the food and the drinks were really good. Can’t say the same about the service. The service is what makes a place memorable, and for as much as that I loved the food I would not go back here. Every single person that came to our table was rude, had an attitude, and the waitress was definitely not having it. He was so rude that I even felt like getting up and leaving at one point. We enjoyed a great dinner here with another couple. Two of us had the rodizio. I had the shrimp kabobs and my friend had the half chicken. Portions are plentiful. Service is attentive. The food was delicious. We also had a large pitcher of white sangria...very good! We have dined here before and will again.

My first time here, and I’d definitely be returning here lol omg we had so much food and it was all very delicious! Me and the wife and kids and in laws went to today for dinner. Reservations were done same day and when we walked in exactly at the time we reserved; we were seated right away big plus being with kids. Very spacious location and very clean restaurant. I love the layout and awesome customer service provided from the waiter to bus boy to the owner herself. My boyfriend took me and his parents here last week and wow what an amazing restaurant Luso is! The waitress was very friendly and constantly checking on us to make sure we were happy with our food and beverages. The food was wonderful and the flavors were to die for. My favorite was the chicken plate; which came with rice, beans, and salad. And since my boyfriend has had Portuguese food before, he said the food is very authentic. He asked the waitress for farofa which is a traditional side made of toasted cassava or cornflour mixture, and you add it to your meats, beans, or rice. Let me tell you

I came here a few time with friends, however this last time was by far the worst. There was a relatively long wait so we did not end up sitting down until around 8 pm. They took our drinks and started coming out with the food. It felt very rushed, they would not refill our sides, and it was difficult to even get a refill on our drinks. The worst part was that they served me raw meat that was not edible. When i told the waiter they all looked confused and did bot offer me a new piece and left the raw piece on the table in front of me and my table to stare at the rest of the night. I was very disappointed

Food I'll give 8/10...tasted great. Service was a 2. Not all you can eat, be warned. We had to complain about the lack of service we received, was horrible! This place had the higher end of pricing for rodizio, which you would expect a great experience.The lady who brings water kept overlooking out table asking if we were done before we even received all the meats. She kept standing over our shoulders and staring in...the servers gave us stares as well and would pass us by....we only had one round of most meats and that was it...until we complained twice. Their reservation system could use better work, they told us it would be an hour's wait and to just go back home (which happened to be about 10 mins from the restaurant so we didn't mind) but right as we stepped in our front door they called us back to return. Waste of gas and time. Other than that the food was delicious and service was decent. Would definitely eat here again but hopefully the reservation system will be better next time.

This place would have been great. I liked the selection and I liked the appetizers that come with the all you can eat. The meat was cooked well and I couldn't complain about that. I just couldn't stand when they kept skipping our table and It was very obvious that this place was not all you can eat. I wish I didn't come anymore because I waited an hour for this place and waiting for meat was very unappetizing. The meat people purposely skip you after five rounds. All around it was very upsetting, might I even say racist as an Asian? I'm not sure why they were discriminating

MAKE A RESERVATION! If you can. We tried and they were already booked. Because we were only party of 2, decided to come anyway and wait. We waited 40 minutes.
Seating is safely socially distanced.
We went with the Rodizio which consists of all different types of meats they bring to your table on hot skewer. Along with that you get sides for your table of sweet plantains, rice and beans , salad and French fries. Wish you had choice of sides because after 5 minutes the fries are a waste

When I get off the train at Smithtown I can sometimes get a whiff of cooking meat and it's been tantalizing so I talked two friends into going with me to do my cheat day here. The menu has a lot of great choices but we came for the rodizio.

My husband and I ordered the Rodizzio (all you can eat meats and comes with a few sides to share). The meat was extremely seasoned. Almost all was spicy. I'm very sensitive to spices, so that's a very personal point of view. I just want people to be aware.
The fries that come as a side are frozen and you can taste that.
On the other hand, service was excellent. Food kept coming (eventhough I wasn't eating it).
I will just go back to seat at the bar and eat the dessert. They were just delicious and the best part of my dinner.
