Services
A Licensed Funeral Director since 2007, Dan is a graduate of Western Michigan University, and Worsham College of Mortuary Science. He and his brother, Gabe began working at Joldersma and Klein in 2007 and were excited about purchasing the business in 2009. Dan lives above the funeral home with his wife Kylee, and their three children Ella, Owen and David; who attend Kalamazoo Christian Schools.
Every family is unique, and every family member special in his or her own way. That's why we offer a variety of funeral service options, and walk side by side with you to make sure your loved one is given a funeral that is both dignified and appropriate. We also offer affordable Direct Cremation services.
At Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home we believe that funeral pricing should be simple and clear; so we have created several cremation packages for you to choose from. You may add additional services from our General Price List to the package you choose.

In order to protect the health and safety of our community, the families we serve and our staff during this time, Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home has implemented the following policies. These will remain in effect until further notice. If it is necessary for the arrangement conference to take place at the funeral home, we are limiting the number of participants to three people.
Our Honored Veterans Funeral Services recognizes that as a member of the armed services, a veteran has many rights which he or she has earned. Some veterans may be eligible for a Federal VA Benefit. My Father recently passed away unexpectedly and I have to say thank you to dan, he made us feel as if we were not even at a funeral home, he treated us very kindly and walked through each step with us and double checked with us on things and did not force any extras on us to buy from his buisness. He told us right away im not a salesman. The building itself had a comfortable feel and didnt make you feel like you were in a funeral home. Thank you Dan for all you did for my father and us.

Joldersma and Klein staff expertly and compassionately guided us through the steps to prepare for the memorial service and gravesite service for my father. Then at the last minute they kindly made provisions for a private family visitation that we had not planned on initially. Brad was so easy to talk to and work with. He even took time at the gravesite to gently respond to several curious children who were struggling to understand the process. The gravesite and memorial services functioned very smoothly thanks to Joldersma and Klein. We couldn’t be more pleased and grateful to them!

My nephew died unexpectedly recently and services were needed quickly. Not only were the staff professional, they were helpful and personable. We held a visitation the evening of the heaviest snow this winter. It was both respectable and dignified given such short notice and the weather event outside. Thanks to all of the staff we met that week.
