Our Funeral Home began when George Sterling Smith had a funeral home in Pataskala, Ohio. His son, Frank E. Smith, followed in his father's footsteps and also became a licensed funeral director and embalmer. He moved to Lancaster and started the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home. His son, Dr. Irvine Ginder Smith, went to Ohio State and became an optometrist.
