As a Licensed professional Home Inspector I understand the value of a good surveyor.
Issues with 'illegal' building changes and added structures like decks or porches can often bring a Real Estate transaction to a complete halt - often with great economic impact to both buyers and sellers. "Floodplain" issues can also cause complications with insurance before or after closings.
I have used Steve Willard and his crew both personally and professionally to resolve issues in the past and refer them to my inspection clients without reservation.
