Services
Perliter & Ingalsbe is a Southern California based consulting engineering firm offering a full range of services for water, wastewater, storm drainage and other infrastructure facilities. We were established in 1946 by two enterprising engineers, Mr. Simon Perliter and Mr. Arthur Soring, with a vision to provide both top quality and cost-effective engineering services.
Through our high quality professional services, we support our clients to serve their communities with confidence. Perliter & Ingalsbe always endeavors to provide the highest quality professional services exceeding our clients' expectations. Detailed plans and specifications to reduce change orders lower than accepted by the industry.
The engineering teams at Perliter & Ingalsbe have designed and saw to construction over 800 miles of water distribution, water transmission, wastewater and reclaimed water pipelines over the years. Special design challenge situations such as highway crossings, flood channel crossings, corrosive soils, high utility congestion, high groundwater, sensitive land use areas, etc. are not unusual for our projects.
Planning, design, and construction management of new and rehabilitation of existing storage reservoirs are the forte of Perliter and Ingalsbe.

For more than six decades of service to local cities and water districts, Perliter & Ingalsbe has been involved in providing a full range of professional services for new and rehabilitation of existing concrete and steel reservoirs ranging in size from 0.2 MG to 18.0 MG (two adjacent 9.0 MG) with a combined capacity of over 300 million gallons.Reservoirs with concrete lined and cast-in-place structural and non-structural bottom slabs.
Because the firm is focused in design of public works facilities, it is also involved in rehabilitation and improvements of the existing facilities. Rehabilitation and improvements are needed for the existing facilities which have completed their useful life, become old and outdated, suffered damage due to earthquakes, become inefficient and uneconomical to operate and maintain, overgrown by the required capacity, and/or other similar factors.
