Services
Our communication tower division has provided tower installation in extremely remote locations, some requiring the use of helicopters to deliver materials. Northwind has maintained more than 220 Federal facilities throughout more than 15 states. Our seasoned team and best management practices form a streamlined, proven facility maintenance approach.
Northwind offers extensive experience as a prime contractor on remediation tasks, self-performing on complex nationwide and international hazardous, toxic, and radiological waste (HTRW) and environmental remediation projects for clients including USACE; EPA; Westinghouse; NASA; and the US Army, Air Force, and Forest Service.
Northwind's civil engineering suite provides design and construction for site infrastructure, new buildings, and related structures for Federal and commercial clients. Our oil & gas sector civil engineering currently integrates our site investigation services with design and construction management to provide complete site development from untouched mountainsides to fully functional well pads and camps.
Northwind's robust site investigation and civil surveying suite capitalizes on the strengths of aerial drone, ground penetrating radar, and GPS technologies and combines multidisciplinary expertise to offer state-of-the-art, 3D site modeling with unprecedented detail and accuracy, delivered in usable data packages compatible with a variety of industry-standard software.
Northwind has extensive experience executing multi-million-dollar communication tower and/or shelter contracts, along with a number of firm fixed price contracts for federal government customers. Northwind has provided site preparation, construction, and logistical services while working closely with suppliers at locations nationwide, including sites in remote locations and/or high altitudes requiring helicopter delivery.
