For more than 40 years, Dr. Teitler has been a part of a Baltimore-Washington area tradition of comfort and care. He is a cum laude graduate of Georgetown University School of Dentistry. After practicing for many years in Washington, DC, and its Maryland suburbs, Dr. Teitler was ready for the simpler life of Howard and Carroll counties.

Non-surgical periodontal dentistry refers to the specialized care in treating periodontal (gum) disease without invasive surgery. Gum disease can lead to more problems than just an unsightly smile. Toxic bacteria in plaque attack your mouth's soft and sensitive tissue to form periodontal (gum) disease.
We offer root canal therapy to patients; therapy can often be completed in a single visit. Root canal therapy is needed when pulp in your tooth is inflamed, inflected, or deteriorated. The pulp in your tooth provides deep nourishment to roots that connect to nerve endings. Symptoms such as tooth sensitivity, swelling, or discomfort suggest that a root canal may be required to save the tooth.
At Teitler Family Dental care, we not only take your oral health seriously but also your overall health. While x-rays use a minimal amount of radiation and considered to be safe, even small amounts of radiation can add up over time. This is why we provide advanced digital x-rays in place of traditional dental x-rays that expose you to higher levels of radiation.

I am just really upset that they sent us a bill of service that was done in somebody that is not a family member or anything, just because it had the same last name they assumed the bill was ours. This issue has caused an argument because none of us have been to this dentist office in years.

Teitler Family Dental Care of Woodbine took very good care of me. I am the world’s biggest chicken when it comes to going to the dentist. I was referred to this practice from a friend and I am so glad I went. Their staff is very patient, the hygienist was very gentle, and Dr. Teitler was very professional and kind. I felt at ease the entire time I was there. I highly recommend this practice. I will definitely be going back every 6 months and instead of dreading the appointment, I will be looking forward to going.

I actually went there a few years ago about some pain I was having.They recommended 2 root canals.I didnt listen and years later went to them again.They were so kind and told me it was no longer possible for route canals but now extractions and getting a flipper thing put in.I was very nervous but they all made me feel more calm.So far so good .I will be going back

Oh my gosh! I cannot say enough amazing things about this practice and the staff! I've been a patient of Dr. Teitler's practice for many years and they never, ever dissapoint. Just recently, I had a crown crack in half. Without going into a super long story, they have helped me tremendously with my insurance, with temporary relief and with the… kindest most amazing staff of people, anywhere. Brittany at the front desk was right on top of everything as well as having a great, sunny, positive attitude. I was a new patient. I loved the very flexible hours for setting up the appointment. I had almost no wait. The woman who did my x-rays was attentive and caring. Then during the appointment when my gums were very sensitive, the hygienist applied a gel to numb the area. I'd never had another dentist or hygienist take such care to make me comfortable. I also loved the the dentist really took the time to thoroughly explain every one of my x-rays as well as what they will keep an eye on for next time. Everyone was very personable and kind. I highly recommend this practice.

Unprofessional. And apparently they don’t like the feedback and aren’t interested in improving. They sent me a survey after our last visit. I filled it out. My comments were that their schedule and location are… convenient and most of the staff were pleasant and professional but the dentist was abrasive and unprofessional. My husband had an appointment last Friday that mysteriously disappeared from their schedule even though we had received the email and text confirmations. They canceled his appointment and didn’t even tell us. Today I get a letter that says we are no longer

Horrific practice with a lunatic owner. Don't be fooled by the fact that he spent money to make the place look clean and welcoming. What really matters is the work they do and the matter in which they conduct themselves. This guy is unprofessional and rude. Find an ethical practice with compassionate professionals.

Dr. Teitler was fine until I told him about how the cap on my tooth popped off two times in the matter of five years and that was unacceptable cause I have had other ones in my mouth for 15 years. He then told me that he didn't put the cap on my tooth and that I was losing my memory. He also, stated that my tooth was infected and I would need a… new cap placed on. When I told him no. He told me that I could go anywhere else. So I did and guess what I was right. My new dentist said I have no infection on that tooth and he glued it back on and I didn't need a new cap. It could have been simple
