Phillip was born in Radford, VA. He attended Christiansburg High School and graduated in 1989. Phillip graduated from National Business College with an Associate of Arts Degree in Accounting in 1994. He then continued his education at Radford University completing a Bachelor Degree in Accounting in 1997.
