With no pretense, at la Chaise Rouge, we understand the concept of service and we are here to cater to you! La Chaise Rouge Salon is a well established hair salon in Santa Rosa whose philosophy has always been to elevate hairdressing and client experience. Today, we have advanced this concept further by designing a salon space that is very boutique in nature, and where we can treat clients to an even more serene and bespoke experience.
Kristy at La Chaise Rouge has been specifically Deva Curl trained to cut, highlight, color and care for curly hair. In fact, La Chaise Rouge was the first Deva listed salon in the Santa Rosa Sonoma county area. So, if you have curly hair, and you have spent years looking for someone who truly understands curly hair: we look forward to meeting you!
We relocated to Windsor, about 10 minutes north of Santa Rosa, and only about 5 minutes from Healdsburg. We would love to speak with you about how we can help you. ........... As I said, I have an inner ear condition and would've liked to know ahead of time that there would be animals there. It's not something I expected walking into a salon, but no big deal. I geniunly liked the cut, so no problems there.
P.S. They barked more than once and you only took them out when I complained. Was just uncomfortable.

Kristy is amazing! I started going to her a couple years ago when my hair was damaged at another salon. She has brought my hair back to the healthiest state it has ever been in. I routinely get compliments on my highlights too.
Love her new locale downtown. So easy to park, lots of natural light and lovely decor. Her furry friends are usually there and they are so sweet and calm. I highly recommend Kristy and La Chaise Rouge!

I've been coming to see Kristy for haircuts for several years now, and I love her new location on 5th St in downtown Santa Rosa! She's easily the best hairstylist I've had, and I love that she offers online scheduling or even schedules with you over text messages, if phone calls aren't your thing. I saw Dusty and she SAVED my hair! I called out of desperation, since I had seen another stylist that same day at a different salon who had absolutely RUINED my hair color (see the pictures). She was luckily able to fit me in in the 2 hour break she had between appointments. I explained exactly what I wanted and she went above and beyond that and hit the nail on the head. I rarely get my hair done especially since I moved away from my home town, it's hard to get a great recommendation. But I was having a very special event and recovering form surgery so I decided to splurge. I had a recommendation for Laura, but she couldn't get me in on the day I needed so I went to see Kristy. Big mistake.
I was a new client and she spent LESS than 1 hour on my appointment! I was totally rushed out by her next client before we had even finished the cut, it was horrifying. I ended up with totally crooked layers (literally the right side was

Ask anybody and they would tell you I would cut my own hair before going to a stylist. And it was usually obvious because the back part of my head was never quite right! Fortunately I found Laura Lind and I have maintained a committed relationship with her ever since. She found just the right style to fit my flat crown, high forehead and double chin :) She is very accessible and willing to adjust what she can to meet your needs. Laura Lind is an amazing stylist. she is wonderful with curly hair and incredible with style. She gave me confidence in my hair, by teaching me how to handle my hair, and properly treat it with the Diva Curl product. Which if used incorrectly, as I had been, can be a disaster. She kindly showed me how to handle my hair, and transformed in one session, what had been in my opinion one of my worst features into one of my best. I love love love Kristy!! Her work is impeccable! It seems like for ever I've had my hair tortured and abused and just when I was going to give up all hope I found high reviews on yelp for LA Chaise Rouge. Still apprehensive I walked in hoping for the best.......and that's exactly what i got. I told Kristy about past experiences and she walked me through what hair colors she thought I was talking about and really made sure what I chose was what I really wanted. I just made a yelp account JUST to share my experience at this salon.
My hair is so thick and gets so tangled, that every time I get a hair cut I end up being in so much pain and so uncomfortable. But this time was the first time EVER where I didn't feel any pain and was relaxed the whole time! Not only was it pain free but it was EXACTLY the cut I wanted!!
I have never been so happy after getting a hair cut and I never go to the same hair dresser more then once because I'm never happy with my cut. But I can guarantee you that I'll be back for Laura! She is the best!!!!

I love getting my hair done from Kristy at La Chaise Rouge!
Before I met Kirsty I had gone from a girl that had been doing my hair for 7 years to trying to find someone that could match her expertise and ended up with brass roots and weird shades of blonde. Two hairdressers later I did an in depth internet and yelp search, in search of a hairdresser that was great with blonde hair and that's when I saw Kirsty's work on yelp. This was about 8 months ago and I can't imagine having anyone else do my hair.

I have never received so many compliments on my hair...ever! I visited Laura, who got me in, at the last minute, on a Friday, the day after Thanksgiving! Who does that?! Laura does! Amazing. She listened to what I had in mind for my hair, which was to go much shorter, and gave me a cut and style that was way more than I had anticipated.
