Services
Scarsdale Edgemont Family Counseling Service is a voluntary, not-for-profit family counseling Agency. Scarsdale Edgemont Family Counseling has provided service since 1920 to those who live or work in the greater Scarsdale area.
The mission of the Agency is to be a center for family growth and learning, a place where families, couples and individuals can find help with the normal problems of daily living, as well as crises; to enhance the functioning of the family and its individual members through family life education; to stimulate social thinking and action to better social conditions; and to cooperate with other organizations for this purpose.

Our highly qualified professional staff provides clinical services to individuals, couples and families in a confidential and comfortable setting. We employ a family systems approach, looking at people not just as individuals, but as part of a multi-generational system. All members of our clinical staff are licensed in NY state.
A partnership of Scarsdale Village, Scarsdale Schools and SFCS, the Youth Services Projects places a team of Youth Outreach Workers in community as a helping resource for adolescents and parents. These mental health professionals provide confidential support to teens / tweens as they navigate the academic, social and emotional demands of adolescence.
S-O-C-I-A-L is an 8 week social skills development group for elementary age boys and girls. What makes S-O-C-I-A-L different from other social skills programs is our understanding of families. S-O-C-I-A-L is one of the only group programs that offers parent and sibling workshops as part of the program.
