Corporate counsel involves advising community association directors, and managing agents, on the legal rights, responsibilities and obligations of the community association. Often this requires forming opinions based upon the governing documents and applicable law. As part of counseling, we handle business transactions including negotiation, drafting, and review of contracts and other agreements associated with the activities of the business.
As general counsel, we advise our business clients on the various legal rights, responsibilities and obligations affecting their particular business fields. Often this includes the formation of entities, corporate compliance, forming opinions and application of the law to the particular question or concern that the client may express.
For over twenty years now, Denise has served as general legal counsel to hundreds of homeowners associations throughout Southern California. Whether it is redrafting entire sets of governing documents or simply answering an ordinary operational question, Denise provides practical, easy-to-follow advice and suggestions to the homeowners associations that she counsels.
For nearly thirty years, David has been involved in the real estate, development and construction industries beginning in his teens while working for material supply companies, owning construction companies in his twenties, and acting as legal counsel for construction companies and homeowners associations since becoming licensed to practice law in 1996.
