A skilled handyman but lacks long term planning and communication skills required for complex contractor work.
I hired Russ for a renovation of two bedrooms and to replace two damaged beams that span the width of the apartment. Time was of the essence to prepare the place for rental and alleviate the financial burden of a mortgage on the owner. Two points that were made in all contractor interviews were that we suspected that both beams were termite damaged and needed replacement and that we wanted a quote instead of paying hourly.
