The land that is now Red Gate Farms has a long, rich history in Savannah. If the 330-year-old oak trees could speak, they would tell you about the Indians, 18th century colonists, civil war soldiers, and more that crossed the land before Red Gate Farms' conception as a dairy farm, and later as Savannah's premier event venue.
Since 1931, Red Gate Farms has been owned by the same family, giving our event venue a touch of true, Southern hospitality on top of its stunning, natural beauty. Such a beautiful venue! Loved all the photo opportunities the property offered, from the barn to the lake/pond to even the majestic Savannah trees. The bridal suite and views were astonishing as well. The atmosphere within the barn was absolutely gorgeous and I couldn't have imagined a better wedding venue for my sweet friend!

I had the honor of attending Shelby's wedding( a young lady I've known since she was 2yrs old) and it was so amazing!!! The Wedding was outside and the Reception inside The Barn. No animals present. Lol. It was decorated beautifully. Food was awesome. I highly recommend this place for any celebration.
Best in the cooler months. Overall I give this place an A+.

Nothing but great things to say about Red Gate Farms! The venue was stunning and the staff was outstanding! They made planning a wedding (even from out of state) easy, and comfortable! I loved every part of the venue, the staff, and how our wedding! From the wedding planning, the rehearsal to the wedding day, everything was beautiful and perfect! I highly recommend Red Gate Farms!! 10/10!

I am so glad I found this venue! I searched all over Savannah and the surrounding areas for an affordable venue. Not only is Red Gate affordable but it also has beautiful scenery. Megan Lucas worked with me to make the wedding of my dreams. She helped me not just with the details related to the venue but also with my dress, and the caterer. She was with me every step of the way and never complained about the many questions and changes I had. Everything was beautiful and well done! I hope to have my next big event there!
