Take Route 81 South to Exit 22 (Bear Street/Route 298). Turn right onto Bear Street and go through three traffic lights. Just 50 feet past the 3rd traffic light, turn left onto Liberty Street. Go straight to the traffic light at the corner of Liberty and W. Genesee Street, and the funeral home is straight in front of you at the light.
A 'Traditional', Full-Service Funeral usually includes a viewing or visitation and formal funeral service, use of a hearse to transport the body to the funeral site and cemetery, and burial, entombment or cremation of the remains. An 'Alternative' Service may include services such as Green Burial, a Direct Burial or Direct Cremation.
Pre-Planning a funeral is becoming a common practice. More & more people recognize that planning a funeral in advance lessens the burden for those you love. It provides a personal peace of mind that everything is in order. The subject of funerals is never an easy subject to discuss. Dealing with the death of a loved one means making major emotional and financial decisions in a limited amount of time.

At such a sad and confusing time, Charlie Hollis was such an invaluable resource. He was quick to respond and very helpful in guiding me through the process of laying my loved one to rest. My father hadn't made any plans for himself and I had never had to plan funeral arrangements before. I didnt know what I was doing or where to start, but he helped guide me through the process and even helped me make a list of questions to ask as I called a couple of funeral homes to make sure I was making the right choice. His price was much lower than everyone else, but he doesn't skimp on quality. The home

Hollis Funeral Home has handled three funerals now for my immediate family. Charlie and his daughter Eileen are absolute professionals that treat families with compassion, and professionalism. They are honest and although no one wants to think about pricing their prices are fair and there is no selling of unnecessary items. Charlie also is incredibly easy to work with; modifying services, arranging items to your specifications, meeting individual needs and requests. He makes himself available to answer any questions, to facilitate any arrangements to make the process as easy as possible.

I highly recommend Charlie and Hollis Funeral Home. I recently lost one of my best friends and needed to plan for her final wishes, while living 800 miles away. Finding services with transparent pricing and professional communication was very important to me. I found that and more while working with Hollis. Charlie made this very difficult time so easy for me and handled all of my concerns upfront and professionally.

I would like to tell you of my experience with Hollis Funeral Home. From the very start I was comforted by Charlie and his staff. He made sure to guide me through the entire process of the very hard job of finding the best "final resting" items I needed for my husband. He treated me as a family member, not trying to upsell me and at times, coming up with wonderful surprises, such as up-grading a couple of items, because he is caring. His daughter, Eileen, who works by his side, is also kind, caring and may I say, funny at the most appropriate times. My husband's defibrillator alarm went off during

Unbelievable service! I am so grateful for finding Hollis funeral home. My brother passed away in Syracuse and I am in NM, unable to travel. After getting no help from a number of people I spoke with, I was lucky enough to reach Charlie Hollis. From then on, my nightmare was over. He took care of everything, including obtaining funds from the VA to pay for my brother’s cremation. Even without the VA funds, I found Charlie’s prices to be below the average prices in the area. AND, he’s a really nice guy to boot!

My family and I were referred to Charlie Hollis when my grandmother unexpectedly passed away. we were from out of town and we didn't know who to turn to. Mr. Hollis was so genuine and sincere, he treated my mother and I like family. We were doing a simple cremation but he treated us with the upmost kindness and respect, and he made the process seamless during a difficult time as we didn't have any prior arrangements. He made sure that we were comfortable with every decision, and that our loved one would be handled with respect. He went out of his way to always be available to answer our
