Services
Agape Christian Counseling and Healing Center offers a wide variety of psychotherapy services. The following list includes most of the services you can benefit from at Agape. Our director Sumith Fernando offers "A Day with Dr. Agape" seminars. Mostly they are one day programs but they may be extended to one and a half days.
Sumith Fernando is a native of Sri Lanka and was born into the family of a Pastor. Himself a former pastor he is currently a Psychotherapist and the director of Agape. The Goliaths of pain, abuse, abandonment and health problems he has faced in his life enable him to genuinely identify with people's pain and has made him a deeply compassionate person.
The Bible very emphatically refers to Jesus Christ as the 'Wonderful Counselor'. Hence all therapists at Agape, while being licensed by the state to provide professional Counseling services, hold to the concept of Christ being the only counselor. Therefore every therapist at Agape is simply 'an instrument of healing' used by God to bring healing and wholeness into broken lives and bleeding relationships.
A man met a young boy and asked for his assistance to find the way to the bus stop. The young man showed him the way. In gratitude, the old gentleman, who happened to be an evangelist who had come to town to hold a revival, told the boy "If you come to my meeting tonight, I'll show you the way to Heaven."

Dr Fernando and staff are wonderful. He and his staff strive for excellence in helping people achieve the goals they are needing to succeed. Dr Fernando is very gifted, insightful and humble. He does not judge or look down upon the people. He was a blessing to our family for sure. Thank you Dr. Fernando.
