Being on the front lines of defense and serving a community is a difficult and heroic calling. Though many of our first responders do not lay claim to "hero" status we know that the work they do comes with challenges and stressors. Police and Fireman/EMTs have some of the highest divorce and suicide rates of any profession.
I was fortunate to have Jessica from day 1 of my trauma journey. Losing 2 children unexpectedly and traumatically was unimaginable; I couldn't comprehend how I would be able to survive. Jessica has never tried to "fix" my grief but rather has helped me untangle my thoughts and feelings leading me to a place of anchoring, coping, and continued healing.
Our fee is $70-$160 per session. We do work with insurance as an out-of-network provider. We are happy to provide you with a concise form that will include the codes that insurance will require for reimbursement. We do offer a limited number of reduced-rate sessions each week as well as a sliding scale for low-income families on a case-by-case basis.
Our goal is to respond to new client's inquiries within 2 hours, however, there are times this might take a bit longer. If you are a new client and need a fast response please email our office. If you are in crisis or are currently in an emergent situation, DO NOT WAIT for a return call from our office.
