We will help to educate our pet parents about their pet's health care needs so that all our patients can enjoy longer, healthier and happier lives.
Dr. Ehrlich graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. After graduation she worked for two veterinary hospitals and then in 1992 started Pet Calls as a veterinary house call practice. As the practice grew, in order to provide the utmost care to her patients, it became necessary to have her own hospital.
At Pet Calls Animal Hospital, we offer our clients our AAHA Certified comfortable well equipped hospital. You are welcome to visit or tour our immaculately clean facility with state of the art equipment. On Site Laboratory: We have a complete on site laboratory capable of blood chemistry analysis, cell blood counts (CBC's), blood clotting factors, internal and external parasite exams, and urinalysis.
1. Payment is expected when services are rendered. In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service and minimizing costs, we do not bill. All cards must be signed by the owner of the card. 3. When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well. Pet Calls Animal Hospital understands this and is able to make some special arrangements through the CareCredit program.
If you're thinking of getting a pet fish, you should know that your veterinarian has a lot of good advice about pet ownership. Fish can be very rewarding as pets, and you just may be surprised about how much fish actually interact with their owners. Thanks to advancements in veterinary care, today's cats can live well into their teen years.

I just came back from a wellness check and vaccines for my dog, Howly. This is a hands down very friendly and caring animal hospital. Just want to say thank you. Pet calls is a great vet. They took care of my little buddy. Dr. E cares so much for her patients. She helped us out a lot. They called several times after the fact to check up on my dog. Their prices are so reasonable as well. Thank you again from King and his parents. Everything! My dog, Loki, is a 15 year old silky terrier, who had his gallbladder removed in May 2021. I was hesitant, because of his age, and Dr. Abolafia understood and agreed to try oral medication. She was very patient with this doting doggie mama. When the meds didn't do their job, she was honest and up-front about the surgery. Dr.… Spranklin, the surgeon who performed the operation, called me immediately after and gave me an update.

Very helpful and nice Vet Office. They were recommended by someone working at a pet store where I adopted my kitten. The doctors and nurses are very nice and knowledable and the office staff respond quickly and try to make appointments as convenient as possible with different options, especially during the pandemic. Dr Roberts (and really everyone there) is amazing! In the years I have been bringing my pets here, they have done everything from regular checkups to saving a life. Dr Roberts will investigate and research… until he finds and/or fixes the problem. Lucky to have him for my fur babies! I also appreciate that they are realistic with peoples individual situations and show compassion no matter what.
