I was fed Nanuet Restaurant Pizza by my parents beginning probably around 1962 when I was 3 years old. After going to see a move, a trip to the Nanuet Restaurant was the place that they would take me for dinner or a snack. The Pizza never varied from the delicious thin crust with the perfect crunch and delicious red sauce and Mozzarella. While the rest of the food served was always good, it was the Pizza that was the star of this place.

Last minute decision to get some dinner. The place was very busy but the hostess was able to get us a table. She was very nice and attentive. We got a hi top in the bar area. Aaron the bartender was our server and bartender. One of the best Guinness pours I've had in awhile ( has asked my name and put my initial on the foam head). Food was on point and considering it was NFL playoff night we didn't wait long at all. Big shout out to Aaron and the hostess. Would definitely recommend and we're definitely going back.

We’ve been coming here for years, the service yesterday was the worst. Ate our food, the waiter gave us boxes and took our plates and then we sat there for 35 mins waiting for the check. We didn’t see our waiter so we had to ask another person who begrudgingly gave us our bill, we won’t be back after this.

Let me start by saying that I have worked in food service for over 11 years. The service was pretty bad. The waiters were rude, everyone on the staff was miserable when they placed the food down it was pretty much thrown. Don’t understand how it has good reviews the pizza was really bad. The crust tasted like it was frozen and then re heated. The cheese and sauce was not tasty I only had one slice. I love pizza. I will never come back for the pizza. The Nanuet Restaurant is a great place to have a private party! We celebrated my boyfriends surprise 30th birthday here and it was the best choice ever - all the guests agreed! The private room and bar are both beautiful and the food is beyond delicious. The bartenders are sociable and provide great service! Planning a party here is easy and so worth it! Kaitlyn the manager is so flexible, easygoing, understanding and attentive! I definitely recommend this place 100000 times over! You won’t regret planning a party here!

We've been going to the Nanuet Restaurant for the last 25 years, and I've been going here since the '60s. The BEST pizza. Other dishes are very good also, but let's face it, we come for the pizza. The young waiters that we had were VERY attentive and competent. The ONLY thing that I would tweak is the choice of words towards the customers. We (and other customers within earshot) were all addressed all evening as "you guys..." A better practice would be to say "What would you like? or "Have you decided yet?" Instead of the word "guys" following EVERY word "you". That's the type of speech that I

Hadn't been here in a while and was looking forward to the tasty thin-crust pizza I've remember of many decades...but it was quite disappointing. It is not like it used to be. The crust resembled a frozen thin-crust pie you can find in the local grocery and did not evoke memories of the pastry-style crust this place was always known for. Part of the issue was that they overcooked the pizza, contrary to my request for a 'lightly baked' pie. While they offered to remake it, who wants to sit around for another half-hour in a noisy and less-than-clean restaurant?

Pretty good food. They have their own pizza which is really good but takes roug330 minutes to get once you place an order. Good menu with variety from burgers to pasta and fish and chips. Hood selection at the bar and service is good too. Very busy place in the evening but can accommodate lots of people. Definitely good place to eat if u are in the area. Prices are reasonable.

Came here last night for drinks and dinner with a friend and everything was delicious. Our drinks came immediately, the food came quickly after. Everything was hot and crispy and so, so good. I wish the cocktail menu were more expansive but they have a 3-5 page beer menu so if that's what you're into, this is the place for you. I love every appetizer on the list, but my salad was also very yummy last night. My friend ordered a quesadilla and had it customized to her liking. Love this restaurant and can't wait to come back!

Food is delicious, the wings are the best in the world, no place will ever have better wings. Pizza is my second favorite, it's really good! Service is great. And for the wings the Buffalo wings are noice and spicy and the chipotle is nice and sweet and the habanero or something like that I forgot was pretty good too!

I tried calling several times to place an order, everything I was trying to order was off the menu. I had went on Google to look at the menu like anyone else would and apparently that menu was wrong .. it's
wrong but is still up for everyone to view..? does not make sense to me and is just a hassle when trying to order. This is a staple restaurant and I know why. The food is great and it's a family style restaurant throughout the layout. There is a dining room area off the side and a more casual bar setup on the other side.
It's literally like a cheers. The staff is very personable and you're treated like family. They have gluten free pizza options including a cauliflower crust which is delicious. The lobster rolls will make your eyes roll to the back of your head and the wings - OMG!
It's great for family dinners, dates, groups of friends just hanging out. Trivia night is on Wednesdays

This place is awesome. The workers are beyond friendly and the service is good! The bartender Aaron was very good, he greeted us with a smile and helped us have a wonderful experience at this establishment. Great place to watch a sports game! Also the food is very well rounded. The pizza is my go-to. Overall, this a great place to hang with friends or family.

I must admit that I always favored the shabby 1950's/1960's time capsule decor of the previous ownership that gave the place a warm and embracing bowling league/Water Buffalo decrepitude of Flinstones lore.

This place was good. Now it sucks. It's service is rude and disgusting. The chicken wings are good everything else sucks the pizza taste like cardboard. The old owners were much better and I miss them. This place sucks. When you call and they say 45 minutes and it turns into an hour and a half you know this place SUCKS. Never will come back here and won't bring any of my friends here nor recommend it to anybody the place is horrible.

I know where I'll be ordering from while are country is in lock down. Take out can be so-so, not here. Everything was incredible, plus alcohol to go! You can't go wrong. Get the chicken parm pizza it will change your life. The chicken Milanese is right there with it. Pizza has always been good. This is pub food on steroids. Place an order you won't be disappointed.

Here's my scenario: I arrive early for my pickup and decide to have a drink in the bar. The front of the house marks my bill as paid and "in the bar room". I wait in the bar and time passess with no one coming to inform me order is ready. I head to the front desk and ask if the order is ready, at this point we're 45 minutes into a 25 minute estimate. Someone runs into the kitchen and the order comes out to which I leave.
Fast forward...I get home and all

Having grown up with this place in the 70s, I finally had a chance to see it post-renovation during a rare trip to Rockland. Save for the neon sign outside I never would have recognized it. Totally different inside, though they’ve kept some mementos (including a few hats from the bar).
Place was packed with a long line on a Saturday night, but we snagged seats at the bar. No more pitchers of Bud—now there are several microbrews. The bartenders were friendly and gracious. They’ve heard the stories a hundred times but are happy to listen.

Overall *** My weighted grading system comes up with 3.17 Stars. It is the same owner as Bailey's and even my receipt says Bailey's Nanuet, I would not go out of my way to return here but I wouldn't necessarily avoid it either.
I found the food (outside of the burger) very good as was the price point but the service was pretty bad particularly the constant DING, DING, DING from the kitchen but that is something that can easily be rectified.

It had been a number of years since I had visited the Nanuet Restaurant and I must say it was even better than I remembered. The food is absolutely amazing and not only that, their Craft Beer list is ON POINT! Good food, great beer and the vibe was right! We made friends with the staff and some of the regulars, so what was supposed to be a low key Monday night quest for some good eats turned out to be a 5 hour funfillled night.. but that's a story for another day. The service was also perfect. I reccomend the Vodka Pizza, the Wings...lots of flavor choices, the Fried Lasagna and the Ciliengini

Went here specifically because this place was written up in LoHud under Jeanne's Top 5...... my hubby had to try the chicken parm pizza which is "basically a pizza made with a chicken cutlet crust and pounded so it's thin". She might say it's elevated but we say NO. It's deep fried chicken- a little crunch which is nice but you get tired of it after a few "slices".
Service was very nice and the have a parking lot so you don't have to park on the street.
Seemed like a fun place to watch sports and the regulator pizza menu looked great.

There's a lot potential in this restaurant but it all not quite there yet. The restaurant is local owned which is always a great add on. The servers and hosts were very kind and polite. Servers were pretty attentive but yet a bit forgetful. We had to wait for one of the entrees to come out longer than the others. It's not a deal breaker but it's a bit annoying watching others eat while still waiting for my entrees. When it comes to the food, everyone overall enjoyed there meal. There pizza was pretty good. My dish was subpar but serves me right for ordering a seafood dish in an Italian pizza restaurant
