What a great place!! My country self has never been to a prestigious salon like this, so I was a little worried that staff would be “snooty”. Boy was I wrong!! This is the nicest group of folks AND they really know their stuff! I have curly hair, so what a godsend it was to find out the owner has special certifications to handle my hot mess of hair! Gayla and Carla—thank you for everything!

Gayla Hair Designs is absolutely amazing. I finally found a place to take care of my hair. The quality was amazing and so are the people. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly, which made the experience even better. Ansleigh was wonderful and truly listened to what I wanted and explained what she was going to do. The highlights, curtain bangs & cut came out better than I had hoped for. I will definitely be going back and will be recommending everyone I know to go to Gayla Hair Designs!

I used my class pass at Gayla Salon for a shampoo, hair cut and style and had a great experience! The salon is so professional and everyone was so nice! The receptionist was so incredibly nice and welcoming and Ellie who cut my hair was amazing! She did exactly what I asked for and was prompt and so sweet! I have already gotten compliments from my husband on my hair cut! I definitely recommend coming here!

I was very pleased with my first visit to Gayla Hair Designs. My stylist was Ansleigh she did a wonderful job. I will definitely be back.
I have loose wavy curls and wanted a textured asymmetrical pixie with long wavy bangs. She did a much better job than a “curly hair specialist“ had previously done with the same kind of cut. She listened to what I wanted, looked closely at the pictures I brought, and paid attention to the quirks I pointed out about my hair.
I am very happy with my cut.

First time here: I came into the salon for a cut and color with Mori. I wanted to go darker from a blonde but still have a nice brown color. She did a great job because she gave me a brown color that was better than the photo I originally showed her. She was very attentive and asked me countless times to make sure I was completely happy with the results as well as offering to keep working on the color to get it to what I wanted if I wasn’t satisfied. The pricing was very fair, the salon is very nice and clean. Would recommend this place to my friends!

Gayla is so personable and inviting. I am almost 9 months pregnant w/ pregnancy brain and got my times mixed up. They were extremely kind, understanding, and accommodating. Linda did a full head of highlights and a toner and it is beyond perfect and exactly what I asked for. Will definitely be returning. Thanks ladies.

Gayla is so professional and a true artist! She took the time to listen to what I wanted and delivered amazing results. I LOVE my chic curtain bangs and was beyond delighted to receive $10 off on services because it’s my birthday month! They also were running a special for a free conditioning mask (which left my hair feeling like SILK!), and they honored both the birthday discount and mask special. I love my blonde highlights and highly recommend this salon.

The stylist was amazing. She said it was her first day and I was so blessed to have her coloring my hair. Not only did she pick out the perfect color, we had a blast getting to know each other. I highly recommend this fabulous place if you are in Plano or the DFW area. Price was fair, service was top notch and the atmosphere was superb. Above and beyond customer service, this is my new hair salon and I hope I can get the same girl as before because she rocked!!!!

I have been going to Gayla for years, even before she had this salon. I love getting my hair cut and styled by her. As a girl with not very thick hair, my hair looks so voluminous whenever she styles it. Sometimes, I come in for a blowout before an important event and she always does a fantastic job.
Also, the customer service is outstanding. Everyone who works there is so friendly and nice to deal with. I also love the aesthetic of the salon and the pops of yellow--it's so cute!

I recently moved to the Plano / DFW area from Austin, TX. I was traveling back and forth to get my extensions and highlights done, but needed to find a place closer to home. I searched all over Dallas to find an amazing stylist and found my new hair home with Gayla Hair Designs!!
I'm a blonde and super picky about my color and extension placement. Erica + Gayla were absolute ROCKSTARS! Erica took the time to look at my hair and choose the right color and treatment for my extension move up. Gayla and Stephanie helped with removing my extensions too! It really felt like everyone worked together

Had a great experience! They were able to accommodate my needs for privacy since I wear hijab (headscarf). Was able to get an appointment same day, she did a great job with my haircut was very professional and nice and worked quickly. The salon is beautiful and has a great vibe. I enjoyed my visit and will be returning!

Very nice place and very friendly staff which is why I give it two stars. I got my hair done and was very happy with the results (hence another star) but my makeup was beyond bad. She rushed in doing my makeup because her next client came. She did not even fill my eyebrows or put on my lip stick correctly. She only applied it to the middle of my lips. Her makeup products are very limited. I have gotten my makeup done other places but for $65 I feel robbed for the turnout. My mom and my sister got it done as well and were both very unsatisfied with the makeup as well. We all ended up redoing it

Gayla has done my hair style and color for about 4 years now and has always done an excellent job. My hair is short and very fine and needs highlights to boost the texture and volume. Gayla listens to my requests and has excellent instinct and artistic creativity to provide what will look best for me. I trust her to provide cut, color and style based on my personality & small basic requests. I've followed her as she moved locations a couple of times because she does a great job with my hair. I also enjoy our great conversations about life. Although she is most always right on schuedule
