Services
Martial Arts is not a team sport. The only person you are competing with is "yourself". Students come to us from all different ages. Some students are in shape, some are not. Some come for self-defense, fitness or for fun. Each person is treated equally and is trained to the best of their own ability and potential.

My children have attended since 2016, I have even began taking classes. The unique family atmosphere made this school stand out from day one. I have multi-racial children, and them being in a setting this diverse was extremely important to me. The service provider is of the highest quality, and the environment is more than positive. This school has helped my children through so many phases of life I can’t even write it all in this review. Bottom line there is no place better to send your child or attend yourself.

My son and I both found a home at this Kung Fu Academy! I'm pretty overweight and I have never felt like anyone treated me different even though I cannot keep up the way some others can. Sifu Daniel is as kind of a person as there could be... and he could take you down before you even blinked if he wanted to. Jessica is fun and energetic. Together they have cultivated a family atmosphere where people throw punches and kicks at each other - quite a combo! I'm so glad that someone recommend Kung Fu Academy West to us!

My kids started attending this school around 2015/16 and we stayed there until we moved at the end of 2020. From the first class, I knew we had made the right decision for our family. Sifu Cliff and Jessica maintain a professional and welcoming environment, and it's clear to see that they are passionate about what they do. Each student is valued and being in this class has built my kids' confidence. On a professional level, sifu and Jessica were always easy to communicate with, and always willing to work with us when our schedule would change. We felt like family.

I saw a previous review where someone accused the owners of discrimination and needed to set the record straight. First, this is a minority owned business so that’s absurd. Anyone who has ever worked with Jessica And Sifu knows they have hearts of gold. They are always trying to accommodate all students. They give generously of their time. And show kindness to all! During class, Sifu has the patience of a saint. He works hard to make sure all students at varying levels are actively engaged, having fun, learning and feeling successful all at the same time. Jessica and Sifu are absolutely fantastic people. Sifu is so amazing with the kids and very gentle. Jessica is professional and timely. They hold community events for the students and are truly kind hearted people. I've learned so fast in this class thanks to Sifu and Jessica. I take the adult class and my 7 year old takes the tiny tigers and we've love it!

I absolutely cannot express how happy I am with the training my children receive with this academy! Sifu's (Daniel) disposition and skill make him a true master at his craft and as a teacher. This is a black belt school so expect belt training and belt testing this adds cost. Couldn't be happier with this decision!

My children have been attending class for over a year now, and beyond learning Kung fu, the personal growth they have made has been astounding. I appreciate the truly diverse atmosphere where respect and kindness is heavily emphasized, especially as my daughter was nervous going into classes, as she is a bit different than most children, and has been bullied at school.
Classes and instructions are individualized based upon each child’s need; something I truly appreciate. I cannot recommend them enough.

Really nice family owned business. Owners are wonderful and have great character. They love their community so well and are constantly doing things to better those around them. They are definitely a bright spot in the community. Jessica and Sifu really love their students and families like their own.

People would be silly to not come here and learn from you guys. When I took classes here, I was in the best shape of my life, and I plan to start back again soon!! The fact that I was able to flip my instructor over my back, who is around a foot taller than me, is insane. It helps me feel safe to have these skills wherever I go. I would recommend this to anyone in the area looking to get into Shuai Chiao!!
