Water-based inks are a good choice when a 'soft hand' is desirable. A soft hand is the condition where the ink film cannot easily be felt with the hand when passed across the surface of the fabric. After one wash the design on the garment can virtually feel undetected and part of the shirt itself. Waterbase ink soaks into the garment when printed.

I just had my first run of 114 shirts for my new National Parks Company business printed by Dr. Tees. The shirts came out beautifully! The owner, Darren Robinson, was extremely accommodating and easy to work with. It helps me quite a bit that he is an artist with well-developed aesthetic tastes. He could catch areas that needed color or design tweaks along the way and bring them to my attention. I will be coming back to him for printing regularly. I highly recommend that you work with him.
