Experienced therapists available to provide BOTH Office-based and/or IN HOME COUNSELING support, guidance, and understanding to help children, families, and adults navigate challenging situations. Please note: IN HOME counseling is only available for individuals with HUSKY/MEDICAID insurance or self-pay.
While office based counseling is extremely beneficial for many, for years, we have worked with families facing enormous challenges, stress, and crisis. Through providing in home therapy, we are able to work with you and your child(ren) in an environment they are most comfortable, and also alleviate the need to attend one more out of home appointment.

I too have experienced and still experiencing bias with one of the therapist that sees my daughter. I was a stay at home dad 5 1/2 years and, since been gone from the home over two years and somehow I am solely responsible for why my child is seeing a therapist not due to her mother's choice to let one guy have our child shock her tongue with a 9v to a child predator with the most recent arrest for stalking a dcf worker.

Part 2.
My frustration is specifically surrounding the present, which continues to affect the progress of my relationship with my son.
3. Lastly, the most recent incident. I had texted Dr. Brone making him aware that the mother of my child didn't allow me to see my son on Christmas and no longer want to meet for additional time outside the therapy sessions. Note: Keep in mind seeing my son on Christmas and additional time outside the therapy sessions are court ordered. I also wanted to confirm our up coming therapy session and ask him to reach out to the mother of my child to make sure she would

I'm writing this review not because I want to come across as this negative person trying to get even but because over the past few months I've tried several times to voice my concerns to Dr. Brone and CT Kids Matter administration staff. But nothing has been addressed properly and I don't think they're taking my concerns seriously. Just because someone has a PhD doesn't mean his or her practices are right. The last thing I wanted to do is to take 15hrs of my day to write a letter but this was my last resort. I needed my voice to be heard and for other parents to be aware.
By the way there
