Webster Martial Arts Academies are top tier Martial Arts schools in northern Alabama that teach an extremely well rounded curriculum that has taken years to mature. Jimmy Webster started the school in Decatur in 1973 as a traditional Tang Soo Do school which he handed over to his son Jamie Webster in the 90s.
Jamie has spent the last 30+ years of his life honing his craft and meticulously improving and categorizing his curriculum. Both the Decatur and Madison schools use the same curriculum, key concepts, branding, revenue generators, etc. It has been a long time goal to open a sister school in the Huntsville area.

As an all honest review, it really isn't what everyone says to be. The studio is a good place to learn, however, the instructor Pat is quite different when parents aren't around and treats the adult/intermediate class much worse than the other ones. There have been favoritism, not teaching anything new, and two faced behavior only when someone new joins. It causes students a terrible environment to learn, and definetly wouldn't call Pat a good instructor. I have personally heard from some students about what they think and it is a more honest and 1st hand review than from the other parents reviews

My daughter absolutely loves Webster’s! We have been attending classes here for almost 2 years and she has learned so much. Pat is a great instructor and has so much patience with the kids, he’s a big part of the reason my daughter wants to go to classes each day! We love everything John and Pat do for these kids every day!!

My son (5yrs. old) has been going here for over a year now and we love this school. Pat is an awesome teacher. He has a real talent and patience for teaching the younger children. I like the discipline of it all. The kids are made accountable for themselves and there actions. The recital of the key concepts, “Respect, Loyalty, Wisdom, Honor, Courage, Compassion, Forgiveness, Discipline, Patience, Perseverance, Self Control, Focus, Attitude, Integrity, Excellence, Respect,” helps the kids understand that those concepts aren’t just for the school but for life itself. The structure is great

I’m so pleased with what my 4 year old has learned in just a few short months and he is so proud of himself, too. They do not just teach martial arts here. They are most certainly teaching character lessons that go far beyond karate class. The instructors are exceptional with these kids. I highly recommend Webster’s of Madison.

We have been attending Websters since May and are happy with our boys’ advancement. The teachers for the younger children have a great balance of work and play. They make karate fun to learn, while ensuring the kids know they are life skills and not meant to be used on friends. I highly recommend this for all young chilsrwn.

A beautiful new facility and location, bringing the Webster's style and quality of instruction to the Madison area. We love Webster Martial Arts Academy! The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and great at teaching all ages. They have something very special there. Especially for kids - they somehow teach skill and discipline & the kids love it! My 9 year old looks forward to every class - but it is not just for kids, my husband and I love taking classes too! Not only are they fantastic at teaching martial arts and self-defense skills, but there is also a tremendous sense of community. Everyone
