Master Ray Fisher is a force of nature. His depth of understanding of Kenpo, Qi Gong, and other styles and concepts of martial arts is only surpassed by the depth of his compassion for every one in his dojo/family. He is especially brilliant with kids, who snap to attention at his booming voice, but smile and giggle when he gets silly working with each one individually. He lays out exactly what he expects of his students and of parents (oh yes, you will have homework) and is always encouraging and positive - lavishing praise for the ones who work hard and try their best, and correcting and asking

Master Ray has done a great job with our kids. The oldest boy, 9, is much more confident and does a better job focusing on every day tasks. The 5 yo boy loves going to karate and is developing more self sufficiency and personal responsibility. If you want a place that is firm yet gentle for you or your kids, this is the place.

I have trained here for over 20 years under master Fisher and would highly recommend the school to both children and adults. The instructors are very friendly, the classes and private instruction are vital driven to whatever direction you want to go with your training. The atmosphere is very non intimidating and the facilities are state of the art, well kept up and very clean. my daughter also has trained here for 10+ years, starting at 4 years old. originally in Kenpo, then Muay Thai, later Jiujitsu. She has competed in dozens of tournaments and has developed unbelievable confidence, dexterity

We love ACS Karate and have high praise for what it has done for our son. He was almost five when he entered the dojo and considered very young but he also possesses exceptional memorization skills. He is borderline autistic and after some behavioral issues in preschool my wife and I decided that he needed discipline and structured social interaction to get him over the hump so to speak. The owner of ACS Karate, Master Fisher, and I discussed my son's situational needs and agreed that ACS Karate would be a good fit for him.

My son took to the dojo, practice, fellow students and instructors

I have been involved with ACS Karate on and off for over a decade. Originally forced by my parents to do karate as a pre-teen, I would be lying if I told you I really wanted to go those early years. Although I first resented my parents for forcing me to get involved in the sport, time has given me perspective and I can honestly say that it was one of the most defining activities of my youth. Now in my 20's, I am still involved in the martial arts and can see the benefits of my training in my everyday life.

I spent several years enrolled in Chinese Kenpo classes, which is more or less traditional
