RCI Plumbing was started in 1988 by Dan and Greg Risse. The brothers are third generation plumbers. Their grandfather started Risse & Sons Plumbing in the Sacramento area in 1941. Dan and Greg's father, Larry Risse, worked as president of Risse & Sons Plumbing until 1976. He, then left his two brothers and began Phoenix Plumbing which he ran until 1988.
Greg and Dan worked for Risse and Sons Plumbing throughout high school and for 6 years after until leaving with their father to Phoenix Plumbing where they worked until 1988 until they started RCI Plumbing Incorporated. From day one the brother's plumbing experience has been in multistory apartment and commercial plumbing where they learned the value of prefabricating components of plumbing systems.

Convenience and conservation can be achieved together. You know what it's like to run the tap and wait for the shower to heat up before stepping in. Waiting for hot water is inconvenient and it wastes time and money. With a hot water recirculation system, the comfort of hot water in an instant and the elimination of water waste are a turn of the knob away.
We can make repairs to your existing fixtures, or replace them with more efficient water conservation fixtures to save money on your water bills. WaterSense labeled toilets are available at a wide variety of price points and a broad range of styles.
EPA estimates that a family of four that replaces its home's older toilets with WaterSense labeled models will, on average, save more than $90 per year in reduced water utility bills, and $2,000 over the lifetime of the toilets.Additionally, in many areas, utilities offer rebates and vouchers that can lower the price of a WaterSense labeled toilet.

As old galvanized iron water lines age, the interior of the pipes gets clogged with mineral deposits. Hot water temperatures accelerate the growth of these deposits. The mineral build-up affects the water quality, and indeed has an impact on the quantity of water the pipes can deliver. Removing old galvanized piping with an opening of perhaps only a 1/8 of an inch from mineral deposits forming on the interior of the pipe is common.
Systematic monitoring and evaluation of the various aspects of the project produces a quality product. The plumbing industry has long been a proud and honorable profession in this country. We believe in maintaining this tradition with integrity and pride of craftsmanship as QUALITY PLUMBING CONTRACTORS.
