I don't mind paying for a service call but my expectation would be more concrete such as using tools to determine if there is a bad parts or options to replace them if any. I don't want to pay $90 for someone to tell me I need to replace my heater with a new one because it is old. Heater is still working.
Updated: After Tony Lee saw my review. He reached out via phone call and email. The company refunded the service call. My suggestion is to have clear communications and written repair estimate to the customer. Misunderstandings will happen since they thought I didn't need it when I asked for

Arrived on time (the company was able to move the appointment forward 3 day from Saturday due to overtime) diagnost the problem and recommended a correction. Unfortunately, the needed part was in stock but the warehouse closed at 4pm (our appointment was 4pm to 6pm Thursday). Next slot to install the part was 9 am Saturday morning. Again arrived on time and completed the repairs quickly.
Note: This was our first use of this contactor, the vendor that installed the system didn't have any appointment for 4 weeks! Too long without heat.

During late summer we experienced an issue with our HVAC system and so used Yelp to shop around for local businesses that could assist. After 4 companies came to visit, MVH&A were the only ones that actually immediately found the issue - a loose wire internally to the system. No charge, took about 30mins to find.
That already put us in good stead and so we asked them for a quote for a new heating unit as it had been explained to us that something had split. John was excellent, asked all the same questions that others had, but also went into details more about what they could offer - there

I messaged regarding a broken heater and they came out the next day. Arrived on time. They sent Iman and he was great. He was able to quickly troubleshoot the problem and determine the circuit board needed to be replaced. He called Lenox and confirmed he could get the part and install the next day. He arrived on time the next day and quickly installed the new part. He showed me the burned areas on the old board, confirming the old board failure. Iman was great. I recommend these guys.

Brad and his team were honest and caring, when my mother's heat went out. They were able to help in diagnosing the problem and fix it after a lengthy go around with the gas company. I can't say enough positive things about this kind of customer service, I appreciate honesty and integrity, those are rare traits these days. Kudos to them.

As new home owners we don't really know tons about all the things that go on in a house's systems, and our Nest we installed wasn't working as expected, so we scheduled an appt with this place to figure out what's what. It was super easy, the guy showed up right on time and let us know what we needed to do to fix it app-wise, and how our stuff works.
Definitely recommend based on this somewhat casual experience alone.

Following our comprehensive replacement of all HVAC components (including new ducting on our 37 year old home), some post installation reviews and adjustments were required to better balance our system performance to our personal requirements. The team of personnel have all been professional and very interested in my complete satisfaction with all aspects of their work. I have had the new system in operation for just over one month. I have every reason to expect that any of my future HVAC questions and needs will continue to be proactively addressed.

Our air conditioner broke one evening and I made a call at about 8 o'clock at night. I left a message and had a response by 7 o'clock in the morning. The air conditioner was fixed by 230 that afternoon. It doesn't get any better than that. I highly recommended Mission Viejo heating and air conditioning.

Had them out to look at my AC as it was not blowing cool air. The only option they gave me was to replace the coolant, and said they could not tell if it was leaking, they said if it leaked again I would be out that $800 of coolant, and just said you need a new AC.
So within a week I remembered i had new home warranty, being a new home owner completely had a lot going on when i purchased and moved in. Home warranty had a company out fixed the small valve where it was leaking and replaced the coolant. Worked and continues to work great. I don't recommend a company who does not want to offer

Brad and the entire team were fantastic. They were very responsive from our first online inquiry, to the first in person meeting, to the very detailed quotes. My husband and I never felt pressured to upgrade or do anything we weren't wanting to do. In fact, we were told our furnace was in great shape and compatible with the new a/c unit. The whole team that did our install were professional, polite and hard workers. We are extremely pleased with mission Viejo heating and air. I would highly recommend them.

Quick response and good communication throughout. Brad was great... he came out to provide a quote on a new system and ended up fixing my old unit on the spot. He was friendly and knowledgeable. The quote for the new system was prompt, competitive and clear and provided options. There was no hard sell. When I go to buy a new system, I will be calling this company.

We called them for an estimate on a second AC unit install and or replacing the entire system into a consistent dual unit. The technician, John Polli, was punctual, prompt-to-respond to all of our concerns and inquiries.... I can say that he's probably the most honest, diligent and friendly technician we have ever encountered. We decided to hold off o. The replacement, for now, but he will be the reason to go to Mission Viejo Heating and Air for any and all of our AC repairs and replacements in our homes in the future!

About a month ago one of our AC units abruptly stopped working. There was no cold air and no fan even. I went to Yelp to seek out a 5 star heating and AC business and came across Mission Viejo Heating and Air. I made an appointment and within a couple days I had a really nice happy go lucky guy show up in a company vehicle at our house. He was very professional and seem like a really genuinely nice guy. He inspected everything and eventually showed me the problem. He told me there was a leak, showed me where the build up of ice was on the AC unit. He showed me a picture
