It's main-stream poke and "burritos" made with poke ingredients restaurant. This is NOT traditional sushi. This is not hibachi. You can order from their pre-designed options or make your own. Compared to some poke places, they have a smaller number of ingredients. Their crab is artificial.

They have decent options: salmon, tuna, tempura shrimp (although it seems to be as much breading as shrimp), steak, chicken, and a few other options. They have a few sauces, but I think most of them are too sweet or not flavorful enough. They seem too much like salad dressings.

This is our favorite spot for takeout. The prices are very reasonable and the Boba tea is a must! Taro is our favorite but they have classic Thai tea and Othe flavors. The Teppanyaki is our favorite since it's like hibachi. Great in house or to-go!

Yummy yummy yummy. I love the mind eraser burrito. My wife makes her own and loves the sweet peppers. The only bad thing is when the sushi roll is gone!! Then I am sad. But I buy another. Ha ha. Give this place a try. You will not regret it..

Sushi burritos are an interesting twist to sushi. I've gone here many times a few years ago and then again recently, post pandemic, and really enjoyed their food each time. They have some great options to choose from and also the ability to create your own combination sushi burrito. Staff has never been very friendly, but the food is good, so whatever! Lol

I was so excited to eat here. I wasn't sure what to expect. It has a great atmosphere. I tried the "under the sea" and "retro" sushi BURRITO. Yes, you read that correctly. A burrito! It was absolutely AMAZING. I also tried the spring rolls and strawberry bubble tea which did not dissappoint. 10 out of 10. Would recommend.

We came here while I was getting an oil change for lunch. I ordered the Retro Sushi Burrito & Under the Sea Sushi Burrito. These were the best Sushi we've eaten in a long time. All ingredients were super fresh and full of flavor. They were also beautifully presented. The spring rolls were so Light and crispy. Delicious! I also enjoyed my Green Tea Milk Bubble Tea. The atmosphere was also inviting and certainly clean. I will definitely be back!

The food is delicious but it has caused my friend to be admitted into the hospital TWICE in the last month. The rest of us have just gotten old fashioned food poisoning. I don’t know what happened the last month or so here but it’s no longer safe to consume tea or food it seems.

Delicious. Sushi burritos are a fun experience. Everything we tried was great. The Kani salad was hotter than I anticipated, but tasty AF. Give it a try, if you're in Harrisburg.

First time here at this location and to this restaurant over all. Enjoyed our chicken and shrimp teppanyaki, shumai and spring role appetizers and fruit and Thai teas. Food was fresh, great blend of spices/flavors and tastes. Will be back again.

Four years since my original post, and I'm turning my poor review into a great one! They have remained open all through the corona crisis, and multiple times I have ordered take out, and every time the service is top notch, swift and delicious! We usually order the steak or shrimp bowls, and crab Rangoons. The Rangoon's are the best I've ever had actually, non fishy, non greasy and so yummy. The bowls are packed with flavor, the steak is quality and juicy shrimp. Tasty broccoli and squash. I am super impressed! You'd pay top dollar for this food at a dine in establishment. I

I have only been once so far, however, everything was very fresh, great selection for "create your own", great price, little smaller than other places I've been for sushi burritos, but over all, worth a visit! The Thai tea were really good, no complaints, will visit again.

All kinds of bubble teas with different flavored Boba. Taro, strawberry, coconut & mango flavors were what we choose ,but they have more combinations. The Gyoza & shrimp tempura was delicious. Staff was friendly. Everyone wore masks & hand sanitizer was available.

I wasn't sure what to except!

I definitely wouldn't say this is a traditional sushi place!

So be honest the idea of a sushi burrito sounded so gross to me. But I was very pleased when I tried it!

I always get the same thing:
Burrito bowl:
Spicy tuna,
Sriracha Aioli,
All the ingredients but for cream cheese and topped with Rice Crunch!

This place bring fun and a city vibe to the Harrisburg mall.

Price is good and portions are HUGE!

My husband and both got the special tuna salmon bowls. I would have liked a little less rice or a low carb option but the flavor was good and we liked the quality. The general facilities could have been a little cleaner. There was a play area with children's toys as well. I would definitely consider going back. We don't live super close but I enjoyed the food and that's really the number one factor for me. Also tried some gyoza and we liked them.

The phrase "sushi burrito" made me curios. It was amazing. I was mostly surprised by how big it was. The sushi burritos are astoundingly good, and they are so big I wasn't certain I would finish the whole thing. You get more than your moneys worth. And, the food is really good. I recommend going with friends. The dining area has great seating, and game tables for people who want to take their time. Wonderful food, a comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff, and they have the whole place set up so you can enjoy your food alone or with a group. This place is a win on all counts.

I went here last Saturday evening and i loved it! I got the shrimp Teppanyaki which was so yummy. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the rice had such a good flavor......not too salty.... not too much flavor...... just perfect. My brother got the steak Teppanyaki which was just as good and yes the steak was cooked well .....juicy and not dry or chewy at all.

I was skeptical of the boba from reading the reviews but I was pleasantly satisfied with the Thai tea boba.

Great quick bite too eat and seat yourself with no waiters which I loved!

I'm coming back soon for sure. Love this place

I'm going to update my review because I've been back a few more times and have had better experiences.

- Service has been great with friendly staff and freshly made orders taking 5-10 minutes
- Parking is still free and easy
- Plenty of seating

I've usually been getting the steak teppanyaki and it's been good for the price and speed, although I might ask for medium rare next time as it's been cooked 'well done' on recent visits. They also have sauces you can ask for like the "yum yum" sauce.

With all the above, I raised my score because the other

I was on my way to Washington, DC to visit my brother and after the sixth hour into the trip, I said to myself, "alright, it's time to take a lunch break." Originally, I knew i wanted sushi but I knew could always get any maki roll at home, so what's the point of getting sushi six hours away from home. This is why I was SO GLAD to be able to find Kondu right at the Harrisburg Mall.

My first interaction was with a very friendly fellow, he was very up-beat with interacting with me and seems to enjoy what he was doing. Since this was my first time having a sushi burrito at Kondu

In my honest opinion this place was ok. I like the concept. Today I just tried the Teppanyaki Shrimp it was ok but could use more flavor. Still will come back and try the burritos next time see if they are executed better. On the bright side the bobba tea was really really good I ordered the Taro. Now that one will keep me coming back for sure.

Checked in on 2/4/2017.

I ordered Chicken Teppanyaki. They have same size for lunch or dinner. Some people with big appetites might find it less. For me it was perfect - I even had leftovers. Flavor was excellent. They were not stingy on chicken and there were enough vegetables too. While placing the order, i asked them if it was spicy and they said no. They have sauces on the side - sriracha and their own 'yum yum sauce, which is what I took. It did not make the food spicy, but added more flavor.

The restaurant is spacious, has booths and separate tables too. Service was fine. Pricing

I wish I can give a half star. I'm in between a 3-4 star for this business.

This place is good and it adds something different to the area. I stopped in here for lunch with a coworker and ordered it to go. The prep took a little longer but this is because everything is made to order...nothing against them there.

I ordered the Retro Burrito. This was good but the wrapper I think smelled a little fishy. It was soft and started to fall apart towards the end. This was a little disappointing.

I ordered a "make it yourself" burrito for a coworker and there was an extra charge for

Unexpected find in Harrisburg, PA. Kondu is in with the sushi burrito/hand roll trend. Very reasonably priced and tasty. Also have some great side options as well like seaweed salad. Was shocked to find a bubble tea place and gave the taro a try. Tasty, but the tapioca balls were a little mushy. Very sold meal. Would have liked to see a few more fish based options for the burrito rolls. Other than that this place is winning as it is the only one I know of in the area that serves this product.

Unexpected and delicious! Stumbled upon this eatery on my drive through PA!

I was starving so had an order of gyoza and a Rock n Roll sushi burrito. Both excellent and hit the spot!

Really modern and clean eating area (with free wifi), friendly employees, and good music (that wasn't too loud which I liked).

Sushi burrito was great! My Rock n Roll had salmon, lettuce, seaweed salad, imitation crab, cream cheese, cucumbers, and roe. Flavor explosion! My only issue with sushi burritos are how messy they get at the end - in the future I may just get a bowl instead.

Gyoza was delicious! They
