We have always loved Riverbark Veterinary Hospital and will never take our babies anywhere else. Dr. Dale is amazing and the entire staff is knowledgeable and courteous. I am so pleased that Dr. Nelson has joined the practice. She took such wonderful care of our cat, Jerry and was so patient explaining the new dietary restrictions he is going to require. I have had pets my entire life. I also been in the animal industry for well over 20 years and this is one of the best Animals Hospitals I have been to. We've been living in the Carolinas for around 9 years now and have been to over a dozen or two animal hospitals and this is the best. I took my 3 month old pups in to be seen today as my male wasn’t being himself nor was he eating. They ran tests and explained each step they took. Positive test happened to be Parvo.. they recommended hospitalizing him for IV’s and treatment. Went over pricing and what it detailed. I obviously agreed. My animals are my children and I want him to get better. They took him back and finished treating his sister. I explained I had another pup (8 months old) at home. There isn't enough stars on Yelp or even in the sky to express my gratitude to Dr. Brown and his staff. They fixed our Honey who had a very bad nose bleed at times. Honey is a dog but don't tell my wife I called her that. Dr. Brown saw it fit to keep her over night to observe her. When payment was due. Well let's say I've spent more at the Texas Road House. Took my cat in for a checkup. She was healthy and the bill was way lower than I expected, a total of $189 for 3 vaccines and a few exams. We saw Dr. Dale and he was very kind and professional regarding my concerns with my pet. Everyone was very nice and the wait time wasn’t too bad. I will definitely be back!

I love it here but the wait times have been ridiculous lately. I expect a wait for any appointment but when I have an appointment at 8:30 on a Wednesday morning and don’t actually see someone until after 10:30 that’s different. The following day I came back for a simple nail trim for my dogs and waited an hour to be taken back. The care is great, Dr Dale is great, but this might cause us to look elsewhere.

Today was our first visit for our German Shepherd & we are very satisfied!! Prior to coming to Rivenbark, we were at a vet in Dunn. The experience AND the price is night & day difference! The doctor was extremely patient, welcoming, & comforting! She is amazing!! Our GS was very hesitant but warmed up very quickly. The front desk staff are very friendly & helpful. I wish I could give this office 10 stars! We have found our fur babies new vet!!

I love this place. Love it Love it Love it. Had to shop around for a vet for my doggers. First 3 places too busy or weren't accepting new clients. My fourth call was to Riverbark Vet Hospital... I was in less than an hour. The wait? What wait!?! Seriously, get here and they'll do the rest. Prices? Very affordable, in my humble opinion. Dr. Brown, though busy as he is, made me and my dogs feel like we were the "special" ones. I'm giving them a "5 Star". What's that? My doggies give em a three out of three Ruff Ruff...Ruff.

Mac the cat had a good experience. The Vet tech was caring and professional. He was examined and treated by Dr. Brown. Mac is feeling better and happy again. I went in today worried to death because it was the first time my cat ever had worms. If you've never seen them on your pet before consider yourself lucky but if you do take your pet here. It's the scariest thing especially if you don't know what you're dealing with. I was recommended here and they made me a same day appointment within the hour. I was in and out within 30 minutes if that. Heather is the vet that helped Paisley I believe and she was such a sweetheart. The ladies at the front desk are also so attentive and caring. Dr. Jenny was fantastic. All the front office staff was as well. Got my sick puppy back after a short wait when no other vet in town would see my puppy. They didn't waste time on crazy amount of tests, they gave a quick diagnosis and meds. Will recommend for others and will be seeing Dr. Jenny in future. This was the spring lake location.

We just moved to the area and had to make the difficult decision of putting our 17 year old dog down. A friend recommended Riverbark after receiving input for many different veterinarians. For the most part I was happy with my first visit to this vet for my dog. Vet was great, and staff were very prompt and helpful. My reason for giving them only 4 stars were because one staff member, a long blonde haired woman, she walked my dog and I from the waiting area into the exam room, she was not wearing a mask at any point in time that we were there. If you choose to not wear a mask on your own time that is your choice, but I feel with it being mandated in NC for businesses to follow the rules of wearing masks, her not doing this reflects badly on the business. I had to do the worst thing a dog owner has to do in their whole life. I had to put my dog down. This is not our regular vet and they couldn't get us in so Riverbark did. I showed up already in tears. The staff there is beyond amazing. They helped me through every step of the process and comforted a complete stranger. My GSD cracked his tooth. Got a quote from another Vet to extract the tooth for 1200$ I was so stressed. A former employee of Riverbark told be to go and get a second opinion there. I called and was able to book with them the same day. They were really nice at accommodating my work schedule. Dr. Dale was so awesome and kind to me and my pup. Answered every single question and offered up his email to me if there was something I forgot to ask. I was quoted 400-500$ to extract the tooth at Riverbark. I schedule the procedure the following week. My GSD came back happy as can be and no further complications

Dr. Dale and his entire staff are absolutely exceptional! We are new to the area and chose this vet clinic based off of their reviews. I have never met a more compassionate Veterinarian than Dr. Dale. He and his staff go above and beyond to provide excellent care for your pet. When our dog was sick we brought him in right before closing and they did whatever it took to make us all feel comfortable and help our dog get well! Dr Dale has to be the most compassionate person I ever met. You can tell he truly cares for pets. The day he met my Mojo he was like your a cool little dude. And that was definitely Mojo. Unfortunately Mojo was very sick and passed away, but the only thing that made that day bearable was the kindness and support I got from Dr Dale and the staff. It may be a long time before I get another dog (cause I'd feel like I'm cheating on Mojo and it still hurts too bad) but if I do get another one I'd 100% bring it back to Riverbark. This is now called Riverbark. Dr Dale is the best! I take my cats to him, he always treats them very well and is very friendly. I would highly recommend him! He did one of my cats tooth surgery, he had to have many teeth removed due to them being diseased, but my cat is able to eat just fine after having this done. I had been to a couple of other vets a long time ago, but I have been bringing my cats her now for at least 10 years and I would not take them anywhere else, unless it is an emergency!

I had been putting off getting my dog's teeth cleaning because my last vet said it was too dangerous to sedate her. She is almost 16 years old. I went here and after examining her and doing some preliminary blood work, Dr Dale assured me it wouldn't be a problem. I was very nervous when I dropped her off, but a few hours later, they called me and said she had done really well. I am so pleased with Dr Dale's confidence and truly caring attitude. These folks are the best ever! Dr. Dale Brown is the most considerate, compassionate and thoughtful person ever. I have used them twice (so far) for boarding my two large dogs. I am pleased with the level of service that I have received. They could speak to the way my dogs were behaving and eating while I was gone. Overall I am satisfied with the service of their boarding (I can not speak to the Vet Care...yet) and I will use them for my future boarding needs.
