I am fortunate enough to have attended what was at the time known as the South Carolina Massage and Esthetics Institute in Myrtle Beach, S.C. The Massage Institute offered a rigid curriculum consisting of studies in Pathology, Kinesiology, Physiology & Anatomy. Further studies included business and public speaking, with an emphasis on planning and creating a new Spa business from the ground up.
Deep Tissue Massage-Deep tissue massage targets the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. The massage therapist uses slower strokes or friction techniques across the grain of the muscle. Deep tissue massage is used for chronically tight or painful muscles, repetitive strain, postural problems, or recovery from injury.

Michael is great. I have been looking for a message therapist that can do Lymph Drainage. Michael is the best at this procedure. Michael was the first massage therapist to make me feel like I had a session at the end of my massage. My wife and I flew into Savannah and road-tripped up to the Myrtle Beach area; stopping in Hilton Head, Beaufort, Charleston, etc. After several days of travel, my wife booked us with Michael. He came to the condo in Surfside beach we were staying at and gave us wonderful massages. He was professional, polite, and knowledgeable. It was the most relaxing morning after days of travel. I have to thank my wife for the wonderful idea but I definitely have to thank Michael for the excellent service he provided.

Went on vacation to Myrtle Beach with my mom and found Mike here online. He was the only massage therapist seems like in town that was still available around 6:30 pm. He showed up on time and was very professional. He has magical hands !!! This was the best part of my trip. I’m actually happy all those other spa’s was closed. We booked Michael for 4 massages at our rental in Pawleys Island. He was fabulous!! On time, professional, excellent at his craft. We all came out of that room a bit happier, healthier and more relaxed. His pricing is totally reasonable and we loved his selection of classic rock as the background music. Perfect day with Michael!
