Through three generations of Ryans; Paul, Connie, and Roman, Ryan Funeral Home has grown to meet the needs of Dane and surrounding counties. Services
At Ryan Funeral Home, we take great pride in caring for our families, and will work tirelessly to provide you with a beautiful, lasting tribute to your loved one. In addition to the services we offer, you will receive an online memorial that you can share with family and friends. While honoring your loved one is our top priority, we also want to help you through this difficult time.
Our staff is comprised of dedicated and licensed professionals with the experience to answer all your questions regarding our services. Please feel free to contact any of our staff members at any time. Connie is a lifelong Madison resident and the former owner of Ryan Funeral Homes. He graduated from Madison East High School in 1955.
When it comes to your final arrangements, shouldn't you make the decisions? The arrangements you make will reflect your exact wishes and desires. Pre-arranging your own service will help to ease the burden of your loved ones. It will also alleviate any questions, problems or differences, which can occur among family members.
Meaningful memorialization of a loved one's passing can transform, heal, and comfort us. It highlights our loved ones' sacrifices, reminds us of the things that they value, and inspires us with their life stories. Have the Talk of a Lifetime, a program created by The Funeral and Memorial Information Council, was designed to help families have meaningful conversations about the things that matter most in their lives.
Most families in our area still choose to say their last goodbyes through a traditional visitation funeral and burial service with family and friends. Ryan Funeral Home provides many burial packages for your family to choose from in order to meet your costs and personal preferences. Services may be conducted at any of our four locations, at your church, or at the graveside.

When my father passed away recently, we realized that he had not left detailed instructions or wishes for his funeral. We met with Skyler and she guided us through the process with kindness, compassion and infinite patience. So many of our questions were met with, "Don't worry, we take care of that." What a huge relief to have someone to help us navigate such a sad and uncertain time. At the service, Skyler and Kristin were a blur of activity, seamlessly and almost invisibly taking care of every detail. We are so grateful to both of them for the care and compassion that they showed us. I cannot

My brother passed away while living in a long term care facility in Kenosha, Wisconsin. My brother's wish was to have Ryan Funeral Home in DeForest/Windsor provide needed services. Ryan Funeral Home did an excellent job of providing transportation so that my brother could return to DeForest. Skyler was assigned to our case. Skyler met with us and provided a thorough review of our "next steps." Skyler was caring, understanding and so very helpful as our family worked through the process of saying our final goodbyes to my brother. From the first phone call to the end of the service and beyond, Skyler

My wife and I had a great experience with this funeral home. They met all our expectations and the funeral was very nice and well organized. The funeral home is large and well designed. There was a specific seating area for the DVD video with its own music and a separate section for the urn. They also had a eating area. I would recommend this facility to anyone who will have a large number of guests.

All they cared about was when they would be paid. Actualy showed up at Rose Lawn after my Mothers private service to ask about payment. I had and have more than enough money to pay these hungry people. Never again!! 1989 lost my father. They did a beautiful presentation at the Sherman Ave. location. Who is running this now?
