Grasse Funeral Service in Pardeeville was originated by Louis and Myrtle Lintner and operated as the Lintner Funeral Home and Furniture Store in the early 1900's. The Lintner family continued to run the business until 1960 when Merwyn Smith, a Pardeeville native who was working for the Lintner's and his wife Betty Lou purchased the funeral and furniture store businesses.
We recently all earned our Certified Crematory Operator (CCO) designation from the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA). The NFDA Cremation Certification Program is a voluntary certification program that helps funeral directors better serve the needs of families that desire cremation.

NFDA's Cremation Certification Program provides participants with instruction in best practices for safe, proper and ethical crematory operations, and for excellence in service to families that choose cremation.Seminars cover the topics required by state law and are designed to develop understanding, skills and a broad working knowledge of proper operational procedures as well as required and prudent administrative procedures.
When it comes to your final arrangements, shouldn't you make the decisions? The arrangements you make will reflect your exact wishes and desires. Pre-arranging your own service will help to ease the burden of your loved ones. It will also alleviate any questions, problems or differences, which can occur among family members.
The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a funeral honors detail consisting of at least two members of the Armed Forces. The Funeral Honors rendered to you or your veteran will be determined by the status of the veteran.

Elliot and his staff are amazing. We used him 2 times in like 8 days. He made things easy, and was so very caring and genuine. It was nice that he not only did the funeral and at the cemetery but he also does tombstones. I can tell you that he makes you feel like you are apart of his family. During some of the worst times it is very good to know that this place will be there for you all the way through. 5 stars doesn't even seem like enough.
