The family spent several months at Camp Pendleton living in tents before a Fort Collins Lutheran church sponsored them. When we got sponsored by the church group I couldn't speak English, but I showed one of the men my quarter. He got a quarter out, took me across the street to a gas station, put his quarter into a pop machine, pushed a button, and here comes the pop.

Been part of Trans for 8 years. Wonderful people, family oriented. Great place to learn self defense, Tae Kwon Do, Ninjutsu and Iaijutsu. Has helped immensely with developing inner focus and discipline. A real sense of community here.

I have been training at Trans for 6 years. In that time I have been able to earn 2 blackbelts in bujinkan ninjutsu and iaido. Great place to learn martial arts that are both fun and practical.

Tran's Martial Arts is a great school. They offer two very unique programs with the Bujinkan Ninjutsu and the Eishin-Ryu Iaijutsu. Both are very traditional Japanese styles and the people who teach are very knowledgeable about the subjects.

I have been a student at Tran's Martial Arts for 9 years now, and am a 1st degree black belt in the taekwondo program. I am working towards my 2nd degree black belt in taekwondo. Along with the taekwondo program, I am also involved in the adult ninjutsu and samurai sword program. I have always felt that the environment is welcoming, comfortable and traditional. I highly recommend the kids taekwondo program and the adult ninjutsu program. If you have any interest in martial arts, this is the place to go.

I took the Pistol Safety course and found it very informative. I’ve had minimal experience with guns but wanted to increase my knowledge. Mr Clarke was a great instructor and I liked how he progressed us in steps and always enforced safety. By the time we went to the range I felt competent to shoot my gun. I now have a greater respect and understanding of guns.

This is the second school I've trained in ninjuitsu and I have been extremely pleased with my training. The instructors really focus on developing your martial art skills in ways that relate to the real world. Their unique backgrounds also lead to very interesting lessons. As with any martial art, you get what you put in, and this school has plenty of opportunities for anyone willing to put in their best effort.

I enrolled my 2 sons at Trans because their website promised to teach discipline, etc. my youngest son has some problems standing still, and he was shown no patience or perseverance in training! Instead of enforcing actions, the instructors just ignored him. They are also closed quite often, and despite missing several lessons, you still are forced to pay full price. They recently moved into a smaller space which is extremely uncomfortable and cramped. We will be taking our boys to a different company as I'm extremely disappointed in the way we were treated at Trans.
