Services
In 1951, Mr. Hubert Vickers established Memorial Park Cemetery. Today, Memorial Park Cemetery has grown from an initial 5 acre development to 55 acres of beautifully manicured and landscaped religious gardens. The philosophy of the growth of Memorial Park has been the belief that the church and the cemetery are closely related.
Founded in 1951, the original Memorial Park Funeral Home is one of the oldest in North Georgia. Overlooking our beautiful 55 acre Memorial Park Cemetery, Memorial Park's main facility has six visitation rooms, a spacious chapel, two large family serving rooms, and a professional staff that will provide you with the dignity and respect that you and your family deserve.
Details can be overwhelming when preparing for a funeral service. That's why we've planned for it all in Memorial Park's new Riverside Chapel. Meal accommodations, three-camera video recording, Northeast Georgia's largest chapel, life-history video projection capability on large screen, multiple visitation rooms with 46-inch HD TV's all in a setting of quiet dignity and peace.
Memorial Park South Funeral Home and Cemetery was built in 2001 in response to a fast growing and dynamically changing part of Hall County. However, one thing has not changed and that is the way we serve our families. Being a part of the Memorial Park family of funeral homes and cemeteries allows us to offer our heritage service.
Memorial Park Funeral Home Braselton is a full service funeral home serving the families of Jackson County, Barrow County, Hall County, and Gwinnett County. We offer everything from pre-need arrangements to traditional services and traditional cremations to Celebrations of Life.
In cooperation with the Braselton Event Center, we are able to offer our families the use of the Event Center for Celebrations of Life complete with catering and full service bar.Our Celebrations of Life can be tailored to your loved one's interests and hobbies. We can offer themes from traditional to racing to a beach setting to help your family remember your loved one.

In the recent loss of my father-in-law, Memorial Park South was amazing! During such a difficult time, they were ALL so supportive and made the whole process from start to finish smooth and flawless. Sparks Bowers and his staff was very professional, organized, compassionate and sincere. We would highly recommend their services to any family in need. We will definitely use them again when the need arises.

This funeral home and the staff are wonderful. This is the 3rd time in the last few years we have used this funeral home. They are always so helpful and they help you make the decisions you need to make at a sad time. I would recommend them to anyone I know.

Having my mother pass was the most difficult thing I have had to deal with in my 42 years on this Earth. The funeral director, along with their entire staff, made the process of laying my mom to rest so easy. They are all kind and good people and I would recommend Memorial Park South to anyone who has a family member pass.
