My name is David Mercer and I am pleased to share with you a new chapter of my life. Together with my wife we started IDTPhoto, a family company focusing primarily on wedding and family photography. We have been practicing photography professionally for more than 15 years. My photography business has allowed us to travel around the world, coordinating different types of photo shoots.
Our travels have taken us to Europe, Asia, Africa, South America, UK and Russia, but now our focus is on photography in the USA. What first attracted us to photography was our passion for creating art, but then it grew into a desire to help you preserve the most precious moments in your life.

Below you will find the description of the nine lessons in Basic Photography for Beginners. My style of instruction is very interactive, that is why I call it photo coaching. I teach you the concepts of photography while helping you understand the mechanics of your camera. I plan each lesson for 1 hour of technical instruction then we spend at least one hour of hands on instruction to reinforce the technical information.
Photographers anonymous is a club for photographers and all other individuals involved with photographic art creation. It is meant for the artists that have a serious desire to improve their skills and socialize with other like-minded individuals. Models, makeup artists, clothing designers and anyone else that has a desire to help create photographic art is welcome to join our community then participate in our meetings and events.
