Sally was AMAZING as our tiny wedding photographer. Her pictures were OUTSTANDING and I've never looked better. We explained we weren't good at photos and she gave us extremely detailed instructions on how to pose to get a variety of beautiful shots. She showed up early to our meeting place and scouted locations when our original spot was not open to the public. She somehow wrote down and memorized the names of our guests to direct them better for pictures. She took covid precautions seriously. Sally is amazing. She shot our elopement, which was planned in about two weeks. She happened to be available on the date we had settled on and we could not be happier that she was. To say that we are lucky to have had Sally as our photographer for our wedding is an understatement. We originally had a different photographer that had to cancel on us (pre-COVID days!), so our wedding day was our first time actually working with Sally. Leading up to the wedding, she was so helpful and supportive as we navigated through postponing our wedding twice and dealing with any and all changes thanks to COVID. Sally is an amazing photographer-- we did multiple shoots with her (engagement and wedding). She is calm, thoughtful and captures the moments you will treasure most. We appreciated all of her hard work and her husbands Nick at our wedding--- not only did they take gorgeous pictures-- they also made the day run smoothly and were by our side the whole way!

Unfortunately my husband and I had to cancel our destination wedding due to COVID. We decided to have an intimate wedding ceremony in Chicago with our parents instead. We asked Sally to capture the day for us. We started the day with a sunrise photoshoot on North Ave beach followed by a ceremony shoot at our venue. We immediately loved Sally, she's very professional and good at giving specific directions. When my family met her they were impressed with her also. We recently had Sally take our engagement photos and we were blown away with what she captured. She truly took some of the best pictures we've ever had taken - and she made it such an enjoyable experience. Especially with all the craziness COVID has caused, she really made this special for us. Sally was recommended to us by another photographer, and we LOVED working with her and Nick for our engagement and wedding photography! She's incredibly prompt and responsive, personable, and knew exactly the right questions to ask to help us think through the photos we wanted. Day of, she and Nick were both delightful to spend the day with AND… incredibly professional. They were "invisible" when needed, but also so great with our guests. We LOVE our photos! Sally took pictures for our extended family gathering and then individual family shots. The group was large, varied in ages and Sally thoughtfully placed people so every family had a beautiful family picture. The large group shot turned out great also. Additionally, managing infants, toddlers and senior citizens while keeping everyone happy was no short order. Sally manages all this stress with pose and professionalism and her talent produces beautiful work! Thank you Sally!

I really cannot say enough good things about working with Sally. 100% recommend!!! I found her on Instagram, a bit of a departure from my usual fact-checking way of doing things. But, I was instantly drawn into her style, and ability to capture couples at their best. Fast forward a year, and we just got our wedding pictures back from our August… wedding. Like our engagement photos, they capture us in those hard-to-miss moments of laughter when we're relaxed and enjoying the moment, enjoying each other. It doesn't hurt that every single one is GORGEOUS.
A couple more things that contributed

Sally and Nick photographed our wedding this June and in the span of the two days they were with us, they became dear friends, PERFECTLY captured our day, and went far above and beyond their roles as… photographers. Not only were they a joy to have with us on our big day, but the pictures from our wedding are now our favorite treasures. Sally and Nick, thank you for taking the time to genuinely care about us, and our guests. I can't wait to hire you again in the future.

Well, I honestly have only positive things to say about Sally. She is truly wonderful. I would like to share some of our experience...
I was blown away when my husband and I received the photos from our wedding… (only a mere 15 days after the ceremony!) She edited and sent me nearly 1000....Which was more than I had asked for (I believe our package included 800) They are all amazing photos. I love her style and the way she edits. I want to frame every one of them. Seriously.
