We all live in a hectic, sometimes frantic world, where we try to stay organized but things just don't go as planned. At White Rock Animal Hospital, we do not require your pet to have an appointment to be seen during regular office hours. Drop offs are encouraged, as it gives our staff time to fully evaluate your pets medical issues and complete all necessary procedures that are indicated.
We are happy to schedule you an appointment if you work better on a schedule. Our only required appointments are for surgical procedures, extended diagnostic testing, radiographs, EKG, certain laboratory tests, or biochemical assays. These appointments are needed to give our staff plenty of time to complete the procedures, and have time for doctor interpretation and review before dismissal.

We have made extensive investments to offer up to date diagnostic imaging and surgical services on site. We also partner with Idexx Reference Lab for overnight sample pickup and advanced out of hospital laboratory testing. All images are digitally captured for review, enhancement and transfer to specialists as needs.
For the past 26 years, I have trusted White Rock Animal Hospital with all my "fur babies", from my first West Highland Terrier, Mickey, to my Westies Jack (13), Oliver (14) and cat, Rey (4). Dr. Bob Hawthorne and Dr. Patty Williams are caring, empathetic, and extremely knowledgeable in their care of animals.

This animal hospital saved my dogs life. My chiuaha Mickey got into something in the backyard that infected him with lepto. I'm so greatful they had the means and knowledge to detect this disease and save him. I wouldn't have been devastated losing him. This is the best vet staff I've ever delt with on a level of caring that exceeds expectations and it shows tremendously. I'm so greatful for this hospital and the people that work there. Thank you White Rock Animal Hospital.

Husband and I brought our 10wk kitten in as first time pet owners and we were both pleased with our experience with Cindy, Dr. Williams and the vet tech. Compassionate, friendly, and quick. Felt at ease leaving their office today knowing our kitten was cared for. Would recommend!

I took my chihuahua, Pablo there as I couldn't get in with our normal vet. I put in a request to be seen and asked for an estimate on services. I got a response at 4:30 am from Dr. Hawthorne! We went in later that morning, his staff was friendly, attentive and efficient. They took Pablo back for evaluation. Dr. Hawthorne came in explained what need to do to clear the abscess and had Pablo back in my arms 20 minutes later with medication already in hand. He gave care instructions and sent us on our way. We even received a get well card hand written from Dr. Hawthorne. That's a class act in my opinion

Dr. Williams, Cindy and the whole team at White Rock Animal Hospital are fantastic. They gave my dog Millie incredible care and walked me through our treatment plan every step of the way. I am so impressed by the care and comfort they give all of their customers.

We took our dog in because she wasn't eating or drinking. We walked in and the front desk lady got us in a room immediately. We got blood work, stool testing and they took care of our dehydration concern. The vet was matter of fact and transparent about getting a diagnosis and cost. But she was also compassionate. Our dog was nervous but she acted at ease with the staff. I appreciate the way we were treated.
UPDATE: Dr. Williams called us this morning to check on Shadow and gave us the test results. All good stuff. We are going to try her suggestions on food. I am pretty sure we have found our

White Rock Animal Hospital has been so amazing with my kitten! I've had too many puppies to count in my life, but never a kitten.....especially a SICK kitten. He had so much wrong with him that at first I was worried we wouldn't get him better. They've been so helpful, teaching me and letting me know what to do with this little baby! So glad they're nearby and such great people to work with!
