Their volunteers place dogs and cats into foster and adoptive homes. Every dollar raised goes to foster, adoption, medical and spay/neuter programs. We are pleased to be working with them! Texas Ferret Lover's Rescue, a volunteer organization, takes in homeless, abandoned and needy ferrets. They evaluate them, get them current on shots and any medical treatment they may need before finding them a forever home.

The staff at Vickery Place have taken wonderful care of our dog over the past year-plus. Not only are they kind and very clearly love all the animals that come in to see them, but they are extremely responsive, thorough and professional.
Just the other week, my dog got into some mini-chocolates (hello holiday season) and ate 10 wrappers. I immediately called Vickery and they were able to get me in right away & induce vomiting to make sure that our pup left ~45 minutes later completely fine. On a personal level, they were also very compassionate to me when I felt like a bad dog-mom from the chocolate

VPAH is the only place I trust with my pug. They are super helpful and reasonable. We go here for her well checks and vaccinations and she was spayed here. Just recently she was bit by another dog and needed an emergency visit to get stitched up. They took her in right away and kept me updated on how she was doing. I’ve seen Dr. White and Dr. Martin and they’re both very nice and don’t push extra unnecessary testing and things. Would definitely recommend!

This past week I had to bring in my 14 year old cat, Mr. BB because he wasn't eating and I could tell he wasn't feeling good or being his usual self. I was really scared and concerned, but the staff at Vickery Place was exceptional- from the call I initially placed to make the appointment all the way through to the check-out process at the end. I believe the lady who answered the phone was Rosalie. She was super friendly, helpful and asked me some questions to get a better understanding of what kind of care was needed, and explained their check-in protocol to me before I arrived. I was able to obtain a last minute appointment After calling several other places this place was the only one who was able to put me on their calendar for the same day. I arrived and everything was very organized and very professional customer service was really nice. The veterinarian was very understanding and patient and gave me an estimate price and options. I will definitely be returning back again for any future pet needs.

The experience reminds me of the same feeling I've had walking out of a car dealership. Multiple suggestions of this test and that x-ray ($250 and no mention of cost beforehand) along with push back when I asked for an online prescription for heartworm medication. Nearly $500 for what should have been just annual shots and a physical exam. In my opinion, you can do better. Much better.

We LOVE Vickery Place Animal Hospital. The staff is always friendly, helpful and responsive. Also, Dr. Huang is the absolute best! She truly loves on your pet as if he or she is her own. My havanese, Watson, is a little nervous and she works wonders with him. Highly recommend!
