One of the best ribeyes I’ve ever had and my wife’s salmon was better than we had in Alaska. We ate at the bar because when I called at 5pm I was told that was all that was available. Most excellent bartender and exceptionally friendly. All tables but one were empty when we arrived at 5:15. We were offered a table, but after we were already nestled at the 4-seat bar so we declined, out of respect to the bartender. The dining room never did fill up. Not sure why whoever answered told us that. If it was the bartender, KUDOS for his resourcefulness. If not, why the ruse? Good experience in any

Our first visit to Trattoria Giorgio last night was reason enough to make a return trip to Greenville. It really was that good! Superb food, generous portions, gracious service, warm atmosphere. Thank you, Giorgio, and thank you, Isa, for a great dining experience! We ❤️ Trattoria Giorgio! John and Ann from Massachusetts

We went to Trattoria Giorgio for dinner after our wedding day and it was a great experience. The food was delicious. Our server Chuck was the best! Even though we didn’t have a reservation and the restaurant was full he found a spot for us and served us the best way! Polite, attentive, competent! We enjoyed every second of our stay. Ended up ordering special that night. It was delicious!!

What a gem this place is! My daughter and I were able to walk in Friday evening after trying to decide where to go between several different places. Trattoria Giorgio had been recommended by the Westin Poinsett’s concierge on a previous trip, but my husband and I weren’t able to get reservations that time. I am so glad my daughter and I were more fortunate on this trip. We ate on the patio, which is more like a secret garden tucked into a quiet nook rather than on a pedestrian-friendly street. (See photo.)
I wasn’t thinking about leaving a review that evening, so I neglected to take a photo

Went for my mother's birthday last night. The whole party agreed it was a fantastic experience all around. Great atmosphere, excellent service and the food was sensational. I got the veal chop which was perfectly cooked - I left the bone clean! I will definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone I can . Keep up the great work and I plan on seeing you again soon.

It is the perfect place for a first date: white cloth napkins, small-about 10 tables, double story high ceilings which keeps noise down, exposed brick, quaint atmosphere but not European, adequate lighting and non descript non intrusive background music, a bar (looks like you can eat at), two or three servers with a what I would call jaded(?) or maybe aloof service-which is good for first time dates since you will be left alone to chat all night, eer till 9.30 pm.
>. Tip 1: the place is closed Sunday and Monday and opens the other five nights from 6-9.30 pm (not conducive for business meals)

I had a dear friend in town and I wanted a location for our reunion and an intimate dinner for four. My first and only choice for the best meal in town was Giorgio. I wouldn't trust the evening to anyone else. The staff is loyal and dedicated to a relaxed, elegant dining experience with delicious food. A restaurant for making memories. Bravo!

We went for our anniversary, so we had made reservations and our table was waiting for us when we arrived. The atmosphere was wonderful and the service was exceptional. My Pappardelle Bolognese was incredible and it paired well with my Cabernet. The wine selection was impressive, so there's no excuse not to drink wine when you go. You should check this place out!

Went there for a birthday party there were five of us Eddie the waiter was amazing, the food was fantastic, but the prices were ridiculous $10 for a glass of wine I went and bought the entire bottle at total wine's for $13 that's crazy. We failed to tell Eddie we wanted separate checks so figuring the whole thing out was a disaster I paid $77 for… a $21 meal and two drinks since it was a birthday dinner we split the birthday girls meal and drinks but still that was ridiculously expensive. Like I said the food was fabulous the service was fabulous it was just overpriced but that's downtown
