I attended the Art Institute of Seattle for photography in 2001 but it wasn't until years later that I found my love of photographing children and families. There's something about starting your own family that really shows you the moments and milestones that matter most in life. I began shooting portrait photography in 2012 and by 2015 I was named.
Portrait photography has opened doors for me to shoot really ANY type of session. In a typical year I shoot roughly 150 clients made up of senior portraits, maternity, lifestyle, newborn, child and of course family sessions. Shooting 150+ sessions per year has given me the confidence to know I can create a gorgeous gallery for any event or milestone that is important to my client.

Includes family & sibling shots in addition to sweet and simple unposed shots of baby by him/herself. All accessories such as baskets, backdrops, wraps, headbands, diaper covers, knitted items and props are provided. My family and i have had the pleasure of working with Jami west photography on many occasions and each time she has gone above and beyond our expectation of photos. We have used her for senior photos, maternity, family beach photos, and family fall photos at trinity tree farm. We plan to use her services again as our family grows up so we have great lasting memories to share with family and friends. I highly recommend her, all the fun little mini sessions she does.

Jami is the best! When you meet her, you love her instantly. She always adds to her props and changes things up so there is something new. Those creative juices never stop! She is amazing with kids, some of the best photos I have of my son were taken by Jami. I highly recommend Jami for your photography needs!

Anyone can see by Jami's website how talented she is with a camera. Part of that talent is her loving personality that makes one feel comfortable around her instantly. The soft caring personality is why she is so brilliant at bringing out the best in adults and kids, catching that instant in time when the best smiles and laughs happen in front of her camera.

Jamie West Photography is amazing. We currently have a package booked with her and she has been so accommodating with my schedule, and allowed me to make several schedule changes..
