Yeliz started The Hytch to provide creative wedding solutions for fun, funky and truly unique couples. Professionally, Yeliz is a recipient of the Reno Gazette Journal's Twenty Under 40 Award, which recognizes young and accomplished leaders. She's also very involved in the local business community and has given talks on leadership at the local Woman of the Year conference.
The Hytch is now taking bookings for private events inside the lovely Sierra Water Gardens outdoor venue. We can provide wedding planning service with the usage of the space, or rent for your own private party! We are already taking bookings for baby showers, graduations, intimate weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate events and much more!

We were looking forward to an intimate wedding and the courthouse didn’t sound enticing. The experience provided by The Hytch was perfect. Megan was very helpful in guiding us through package options, flowers, settings, helping us quickly narrow down how our wedding would look. Addie walked us through a few questions that ensured our vows reflected our style; she was our officiant and made the ceremony feel magical. Enough good things cannot be said about The Hytch team and the lovely Sierra Water Gardens venue. We started planning a July micro wedding in March, and it was so easy working with them! We gave minimal direction, and they produced a stunning wedding for us. They coordinated with a florist, Galena Forest Flowers, who created an absolutely stunning bouquet, flower crowns, boutineer and arch decorations. And our table for 17 was perfect with the settings. The experience the Hytch created for us was absolutely phenomenal. Due to the pandemic, we had to change our original plans of a destination wedding in Jamaica to our incredibly small town in central Nevada. We wanted to bring a charming, elegant event to a place that has little to no services and the Hytch delivered. Yeliz was extremely easy to work with, took our vision for the day, and put it all together. I am in love with the ocean - and TheHytch packed up their amazing dream team and went to San Diego to provide us with the most amazing beach wedding! They handled every detail flawlessly. But what I am so amazed at was how they made us FEEL. (That deserves more than 5 stars!) We felt like we were the only couple in the world - their faces were full of light, energy and excitement to do what they are so good at. How do you even say, "Thank You" to a team like this who gives you lifelong memories?! Don't even search further - this is your team!

This team deserves more than 5 stars! They are very responsive with my emails. They make you feel so welcome and loved that added more magic on our wedding day. They provided planning, officiating and photography all in one package at a very reasonable price. Ashleigh took our photos and was able to send us some sneek peek photos on the same day hours after the wedding which is a plus because we are all excited to share it on our social medias I will surely avail their services again on our vow renewal

Addie and the Hytch planned and delivered a perfect wedding despite all the Covid circumstances!! I cannot say enough how lovely and that it was EXACTLY the wedding I dreamed of!!! Addie was so helpful in the weeks leading up to the event since we were traveling into the region and not familiar with the Lake Tahoe places. I Can't say enough great things about The Hytch and Yeliz! I never wanted a huge wedding, but still wanted the big wedding look with nice decor and beautiful flower arrangements. It felt overwhelming trying to plan all of this, especially during a pandemic! I'm so happy I found The Hytch! Yeliz made the whole process so simple, and gave us the wedding of our dreams. Every detail was very thought out, and the best part is I didn't have to worry about a single thing except showing up and getting hytched! We had 18 people attend an intimate pop up wedding, and it is safe to say that it was the best

Yeliz & the Hytch are amazing. I contacted them in March right before Covid became a pandemic, I can't recall how I found them. I think I googled around and was looking through the Knot. I really liked the personal and modern look vs a couple other elopement companies I found.
Anyways, after they replied to me in March, my planning got put on hold due to the world seemingly being on hold. Yeliz & Juston were hospitable, and on point! They managed to capture our vision, and personalities. We had only spoken on the phone a few times to be able to express our idea, and to share our story.

I wanted to propose to my long time gf, and Yeliz made everything easy.
Venue: Looked amazing! I did it at Sierra Water Gardens. I had never been there before, but once I walked inside, I fell in love with the pond, the dock, and nice atmosphere. Even friends of mine that lived in Reno all their lives wanted to know where I proposed because the venue looked like I was in some forest. I literally didn't have to decorate much because of how romantic the venue is.

My partner and I were scrambling to find a venue for our elopement in Lake Tahoe, and were woefully disappointed with the responses we received from venues. I couldn't believe how much it cost to rent a dock for an hour, or how we were expected to rent an entire restaurant! Luckily, an overbooked wedding planner recommended The Hytch.
