Strickland Veterinary Clinic

My go-to vet! Very caring and have been going here for 13 years for my dogs! The only complaint I have are the office kitties that hang out in lobby and on the counter...I'm HIGHLY allergic to cats and suffer for a couple days after each visit, unfortunately! I wish I could pet them and give ear rubs, but just being in the same room makes me miserable!

After having been to the worst vet I have ever experienced, we found Dr Strickland. These people are absolutely wonderful. They make me and my cat feel loved and cared for. They are quick to respond and have not steered us wrong for his care. Absolutely fantastic clinic.

I used to this vet based on a recommendation for my boss and was not disappointed with the service I received the staff was extra friendly and very kind the vet tech that helped me specifically her name was Dana and she was really excellent. My dog had some Staples removed from his neck and they did it fast and painlessly.

My favorite Veterinarian. All her staff is so kind, knowledge and friendly. Had to help one babies cross The Rainbow Bridge and we were brought into a very nice room with blankets on the floor. There was no rush or urgency to leave. It very dignified. This has its own door to leave the premise. I can't imagine walking through a full lbby of clients histerical.

Dr Strickland has been taking care of my dogs for well over a decade, so this review is long overdue. Dr Strickland has always been kind, patient and responsive to my concerns. Her employees are terrific, and Rachel just may be the best vet technician on the planet. My current pup has had a number of symptoms that were particularly tricky to diagnose and treat and Dr Strickland has been a blessing in the midst of my frustration and stress. I know a lot of pet owners complain about the rising costs of veterinary care, and a friend of mine recently lamented that her vet now charges $60 for an office

I love the staff here. They’re courteous and kind. I am thankful they don’t push extra services or new brands that’ll cost me extra in the end. They take care of my dog and it feels like a welcoming environment.

They've always been helpful and Strickland herself has a knowledge of ferrets that was hard to find with other vets. Recommend especially if you have ferrets. We were able to spend more years with our ferrets before they passed away because of Strickland. Thank you

TUCSON'S FINEST! Wow! The best vet experience I've ever had in Tucson. Dr. Strickland definitely knows her stuff! She really takes the time to treat your pet, explain everything, and answers all your questions. She has great bedside manner and is very thorough in her treatment plans. I cannot express how thankful I am to have her as a vet to my pets! The staff is very friendly and helpful as well. So glad for my friend who made this recommendation and I highly recommend her as well :)

We got scheduled the next day when we called, and were very happy with the service we received, the attention paid to our dear doggie. The vet and her assistant were both very attentive and listened to us and answered our questions well and thoroughly. The pricing was very reasonable and transparent. I'm so glad we found this vet clinic in our new hometown!

I can't say enough good things about the folks at Strickland VET. I had a very sick cat I had recently adopted from the Humane Society. He, "THE BOSS" had a serious upper respiratory infection, and it was suspected he had the grave disease of distemper. Fortunately bloodwork ruled out distemper.
Their staff is beyond an adequate description. They are kind, caring and so well trained and versed about our beloved pets. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.‼‼

We got there at 430 with our puppy who got attacked by another dog and they told us that they were closing already but they closed at 6. So we had to wait for a taxi to take our puppy to another vet clinic. So I wouldn't even give them one star just had to in order to place the review.

Wonderful and caring. I had to put my cat down. Dr. Thomas, the veterinary assistant and the receptionist were all outstanding. I loved the paw print which was made with my cats name on it. The cost was much lower than expected. I will gladly refer anyone to Strickland.

Outstanding Vet. My dog was treated in a very expensive Emergency Center, all that mattered was the money. Although my dog had never been treated at Strickland I scheduled a follow up appointment there. Dog's condition was explained to me thoroughly. Also did lab work for hypothyroid. Medication needed to be reduced by 50%. Changed dog's diet to recommended diet for his diagnosed condition. It's amazing to see the improvement in my little guy. Everyone at Strickland has been very kind and caring. Thankful to have found this Vet., highly recommend.

We have 3 dogs & 7 cats & have taken several of our animals to other vets... until we found Strickland! We will never seek treatment for any of our animals at another vet (unless we move away from Tucson)! The staff is always friendly, kind to our fur babies & accommodating. I believe their prices are fair & reasonable (previous vet charged us nearly double for a procedure on one of our cats), wait time is minimal & lab results are always quick. A few weeks ago I had to put my dog Abby down, it was a bad day from getting a speeding ticket, a flat tire, and coming home and finding my dog unable to move.
I immediately called the Strickland's. They took such care and feeling for what I was going through that day, it made the difficult day bearable. They took a paw print from Abby and wrote me the kindest card. This is exactly why as well as many other reasons they are a great vet.

Called and scheduled an appointment for my small dog which was bitten at the park. Waited over an hour to be seen by the vet, she was not very concerned about my dog's bite and I was not happy with our visit. The wait time was excessive with an appointment scheduled, the vet was insensitive and not very knowledgeable about dog bites, rules, etc.
Overall I would NEVER use this vet due to the poor customer service, lack of concern for my injured animal and it was expensive too!

I have been taking my cats here for years. If I have an emergency, they are great about getting me in last-minute. Also the vets are good about taking the time to explain things. One of my older cats developed cancer and everyone at Strickland was patient and caring throughout the testing and treatment process. When I eventually had to put him down, Strickland made it the best experience it could have possibly been. And they followed up with a sympathy card signed by the whole office. Caring people.

The vet techs are all very caring and nice. They really take good care of the animals. All of the veterinarians are very good at explaining everything you need to know about the treatment of your animals. They thoroughly explain your options, and what they are thinking in terms of diagnosing your dogs. the vets call personally with your test results and answer all of your questions. they have never made me feel stupid or an inconvenience like i have fet with other veterinarians. I recommend this office to EVERYONE I talk to. They are good about explaining pricing on tests before they do them so
