I have been a regular customer at Salon Keiji for 10 years. Every visit I am happy with the result. Keiji is awesome and he always understands what I want. He never fails my cut and color. My 9 years old daughter also loves the girls working there. They are always patient and listening to her needs. Bookings are very competitive but hey, that means they are really good right?! I always book at least 3 months ahead, no complain. I highly recommend Salon Keiji!

I have been going to Salon Keji at least once a month the for the past 15 years. Tamee is the best stylist I have ever had. I have used her for the past 15 years for my monthly weave. (You can tell her anything and rest assured that...."only your stylist knows for sure". Anna does my facials with ritualistic professionalism. A surreal experience. I love Keiji, Lindsey, Tiffany and all.

I had a great experience here! i was flipping thru the web on google and yelp looking for a salon and after calling 2 times, i made an appointment for a next morning appt but then ended up pushing it back to the afternoon 30 mins before the appointment... nevertheless it happened! they were patient enough to work with my crazy schedule and i'm so glad i found this place and they gave me the opportunity to stop in! i got my haircut done by Tiffany and she was fantastic! i rambled on with my expectations but i could feel i still wasn't pinpointing the exact look. still tiffany managed

The best place in Salt Lake City to have your hair cut, color and style. Keiji has been my hair stylist for 20 years and is the most professional hair stylist I have ever met. I met Keiji as a 15 year old child. He was tasked with fixing a TERRIBLE red & black dye job I received from someone in beauty school. Keiji returned my hair to a normal color again. I am now 37 years old & he's been the only one I trust to touch my hair for 22 years now, every 6 weeks. I've never had a bad experience in his salon & recommend Salon Keiji to all that ask. I very much appreciate that he keeps things current by bringing in other professionals from top companies like Paul Mitchell to teach his staff new trends & the like. The owner made me feel I was not welcome ! He yelled at me saying “ I am busy” when I asked if he could do haircuts for me!!!! Plus the lady did my haircut half way because she had another customer come in and kept complain about my hair “ I am not conformable to do her haircut”!!!! What the Hell! ! Yourself is not skilled and could not finish your job ,why complain customer’s hair! No wonder you are just a haircut lady!!!! Remember not to go with her! She always wear glasses and hat!!! Do not go with her! Unless you wish your hair half done and have to be fixed by another stylist!!!

I have been a client of Salon Keiji for close to 15 years and I believe there is no better place to go for a quality hair color and cut. They are so professional, up on all the latest trends, always on time, and many of the other stylists in the valley have been trained at Salon Keiji. Everyone I have ever sent there has been very happy with their appointments. I highly recommend it.

Faye was my colorist did an amazing job my hair was beautiful with my extensions I had put in a week later!
I'm due back for another color soon and to have my extensions moved up . It's been a while but the person that did my extensions broke her shoulder so I'm just waiting patiently for her to heal and come back to work

I've been coming to the salon for two years since I moved from California. Their haircuts and hair colors are really beyond my expectation. This salon is by far my favorite! The first time I had my hair cut here the woman did amazing. I have curly, thick hair, down to my butt. She knew exactly how to work with it.
This last time I had Faye and she did amazing. Time was limited because I forgot to mention how thick and long my hair was. I don't do hair so I don't always remember that important fact. Faye was willing to work with me and make sure I had my cut and some color taken care of. The salon closed and we weren't done so she stayed after to finish. I didn't feel rushed or stressed either. I don't always look fabulous, but when I do it's right after Lou has worked her magic. I have a rare genetic skin disease that leaves my scalp insanely sensitive; it will bleed if the hair stylist is not super careful. Lou listened to what I wanted for a cut and handled my hair with exceptional care.

Very disorganized pricing structure, and bad attitude from the owner. I told him it's going to be four bleachers, and he said it may be around 200. I was like , then you mean about each additional bleaching only 15 he was like no that's too cheap. So yeah they're just pulling bs out of their mouths.

It had been forever since I had clean cut by a stylist and an even longer time since I'd had a complete hair color change (post-breakup style, you know the kind).
I was referred to Lou by a friend of mine, and I could not have been more satisfied with both the cut AND the color! She was professional, charismatic, and took the greatest care with my hair - and even suggested way better products than I was using to help keep it look AMAZING!
Definitely have referred her to more friends of mine, and will keep coming back to see her!

If you have thick hair - this is the place for YOU! I'm half Japanese with a ton of thick, coarse hair that can be a challenge for many to cut because honestly it's just not what they are used to (we DO live in Utah). The owner Keiji is Japanese and teaches his staff how to cut hair in addition to their schooling. I've been here twice with two different junior stylists and have left happy. Per my request, my hair was thinned and texturized but done in a way where it lays nicely, other places I've been it just kinda poofs out at the ends which Girl, that ain't nobody&apos
