That is why Lakeside Academy distinguishes itself by creating a safe, caring and nurturing environment where children are happy and continually preparing for a bright future. Our unique approach to learning blends the two leading philosophies of teaching children. One of those philosophies promotes a child-initiated approach, in which children are free to explore their individual interests with teacher support.
Lakeside Academy and Preschool takes a holistic approach to early childhood education. At the core of our philosophy, we believe that each child is unique and therefore deserves individual attention and care. Because of their innate curiosity, it is up to us at Lakeside Academy and Preschool to develop suitable activities based on our observations of each child's individual needs.
Our work is about one thing above all else - the individual development of your child. Lakeside Academy and Preschool carefully screens and interviews teachers to ensure that they meet our high educational standards. Our educators regularly participate in advanced training sessions and continuing education classes to ensure that they are always up-to-date with fresh ideas and sound teaching principles.
At Lakeside Academy and Preschool, we try to keep the admissions process as simple as possible. We also offer several opportunities to get to know the school before you apply. We have a flat fee of $275.00/week for a child of any age with no additional charges for early or after care. All meals, snacks, drinks are included in the tuition as well as all supplies (except for diapers/pull ups and wipes).
Parents play a key role in a child's early development. Nonetheless, the significance of parental involvement is often underestimated at the preschool and pre kindergarten level. That's why at Lakeside Academy and Preschool we encourage regular communication among parents and teachers. We invite parents to join regular meetings where we discuss the overall development of our students.

We had a truly cruel experience at Lakeside Academy. My son was 2 when he was expelled. He had been a student for over a year and in that time, I'd received 1 notice that he had bitten another student. There were 2 other times the director said he had a "bad day", but by no means were they official or written warnings. We were blindsided and were given no resources and no advice (other than if my child bit again, I should bite him back and that would make him stop).

They came highly recommended. We went on a tour and fell in love. My son is excelling and so happy there. They do all the snacks and meals there which is so nice. They do a parents night out quarterly for free! Most importantly, they love my kid as their own. Thank you Lakeside!

We absolutely LOVE Lakeside Academy and everyone that works there. We started our 3 year old there in the middle of the pandemic and we were absolutely blown away by the cleanliness, security, healthy lunches, and academic rigor that our little girl gets at Lakeside. She is learning so much academically and will be more than ready for Kindergarten. In addition to the academics she has blossomed socially. Our daughter started Lakeside Academy when she was 3. We loved the teachers and the lesson plan they provided for our daughter. Our daughter graduated from Lakeside and misses the teachers so much she asks to go visit her teachers. This is not a daycare but a place that foster learning and prepares our daughter for kindergarten. We highly recommend Lakeside and can’t thank them enough for all they have done for our daughter!! We are proud to have been part of the Lakeside Academy Family!!!

The staff here is amazing! My daughter was at Lakeside until we had to move, and while I loved her new preschool we missed Lakeside very much. They teach your children both academically and socially.
While my daughter attended they even had classes parents could sign up for to help you learn how to set boundaries and be a better parent. I love this school so much!

We absolutely LOVE lakeside!!! The teachers are phenomenal to say the least! The curriculum at this school is like no other. My daughter is writing letters & numbers and she isn't even 3 yet. They provide snack & homemade meals included in tuition which is a really great perk!
Most importantly, the director couldn't be more hands on. She is always checking in on classrooms, helping different rooms as needed. Any concern is quickly addressed. I have full confidence my little one is taken care as if she was the teachers/directors child.

My daughter attended Lakeside Academy for 3 happy years and we loved our time there!
The new building is beautiful with large open spaces! The teachers truly love the children and I love the constant cooperation between the teachers and families to help raise my daughter!
The education is excellent! Ella was fully prepared for kindergarten and was approached to be part of the advanced/gifted program!
The hours open (6:30 - 6:00) help working parents to not be stressed! We love Lakeside Academy and would highly recommend it for anyone looking for the best care and education for their child!
